Foxpaw purred then padded back to his nest then curled himself around the moss and slowly closed his heavy eyes listening to the noises of the outside of the den.

Polarpaw blinked "oh..." She trotted back to her nest and flopped in it. She laid on her back and wondered why Foxpaw just walked away like that

Marigoldpaw pushed her way out of the apprentice den her pale green gaze shifted over the surrounding area. Her mentor had decided that today was a more informal lazy day, having had a few errands in which they had to do something. She was left with not a thing to do since majority of her den sharers were out or sleeping in. Sighing she decided she would might as well walk around the clearing her gaze scanning every thing without any form of problem. That was before her gaze landed on the small kitten, tilting her head she set course towards the smaller cat her ears flickering slightly. Once close enough she took a seat in front of the kitten her head tilt to the side in question. "I don't mean to sound rude but does your mother know you're outside of the nursery?" She asked calmly. "I would rather not having a frantic queen looking for her missing kit" she said while nonchalantly shrugging her right ear folded back.

The older kit had just raised a paw up to groom her ears when she noticed someone padding over to her. "Ah," she chirped, setting her paw down and hoping that she looked presentable. This clanmate of her's looked older than a kit, so she wanted to seem the best that she could be. Cinderkit's watchful gaze never left the newcomer's eyes. "I'm nearly an apprentice," she meowed, optics narrowing in dislike. It was a bad first impression to assume that Cinderkit was completely dependent on her mother. She didn't like that one bit. "So I don't need a mother to dote on me."

"You seem... older? Capable? I'm not entirely sure what word I'm thinking of," hummed the ShadowClan kit, "but I wanted to ask how old you were." After a moment, she added on to her original question. "And if you could tell me what being an apprentice is like—I mean, assuming you're an apprentice. You are one, right..?" Cinderkit could drone on for hours if someone let her. She loved to hear herself talk. Well, for a soon-to-be apprentice, her vocabulary was refined—in a sense. Every now and then she'd have her little mess-up, as was evident in her earlier sentences, but she always attempted to clear up that mistake right away with even more talking.

foxpaw sighed wishing he didn't walk away like that. He groaned and got back up and pawed back to polarpaw. "L-look im sorry im just n-not good with other cats that's all." "i j-just didn't want to wast your time." he licked his fur then laid down next to her.

Polarpaw blinked she smiled and leaned into him, she purred "thanks for coming back, and don't worry. I'm not good with other cats either!" She nuzzled her head against his shoulder ' I wonder if Moondancer knows Foxpaw'

Foxstripe purred then licked her ear and then curled back around next to her and closed his eyes again.

Freekit looked around the camp, she grinned and flopped on the ground. Her curls brown and white fur now tinted with dust, she giggled and sat up. The little Lapem's green eyes searched the clearing for her mother "mommy!?" She mewed , a hint of panic in the little lot's voice 'Oh Starclan, why do I have to be such a scardy mouse!' She jumped to her feet and started looking around for her adoptive Mother. @Jingle

Duskshine walked over to Freekit and chuckled, her kind yellow eyes looking at the small kit. "What is it little one?" she mewed before licking her head and scooping her up, bringing her to some shade of a pine tree.

Halestar jumped up onto the HighBranch and looked down at the other cats in the clearing, calling them forward for a brief meeting.

"Hello everyone. I'd like to announce the new deputy. I know it seems like a sudden change of deputy, however I feel as though it is needed to keep ShadowClan strong and powerful, like what it's supposed to be." She started, closing her eyes and letting the formal words of her ancestors flow out of her mouth. "So, I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of ShadowClan is Cloverwhisker."

The leader flicked her tail at Cloverwhisker and smiled faintly at the warrior, hopefully they would be a good fit. She saw good potential in this cat, and knew they were going to do great things.

Pufftuft looked up at the leader, a confused look plastered on his face. 'So soon? I hope she's feeling alright.' he thought to himself as he listened intently to the leaders speech. The grey Tom sat up straight and focused his full attention on the new deputy, Cloverwhisker, his teal hues dance during with pride. He grinned and began to chant "Cloverwhisker, Cloverwhisker!" he shouted, his voice drowning in the sea of his clanmates voices.
