The news of Lionstorm's death hit Sootflare in waves. Hearing it in the most ungracious of manners did his reception no favors. Disbelief washed over him at first - truly, a part of him believed the stupid golden star of RiverClan to be incapable of dying, not for a long time yet anyhow. The mix of anger and grief he felt at Kestrelstar's remarks left him overwhelmed and after it all, feeling nothing at all. Empty and tired, without the energy to respond of process what he was feeling in the moment.

Quietly, he shuffled his way back through the crowd and found himself a spot of relative quiet to hear - though not really listen to - the rest of the clans' announcements.

FireHeart padded after DawnStar silently his ears pricked gazing over towards the other clan cats, his eyes dull not shining with determination or strength, he sat down and neatly curled his tail over his paws waiting for the gathering to begin.
