She didn't even respond to his half jab, but she whusoered to him. "Let's find out who they are, what they want. You go around one side and I'll go the other." She nodded to her plan and stalked out of the cave, and stalked around the cat, she was going to pop out on one side.

She didn't leave him time to respond, so Cypress merely nodded, following her out of the cave and breaking off to circle around the other side of the suspicious feline. He'd wait until she was in position, and follow her up the hill to trap the cat between them and question him.

He heard them before he caught their horrible smell of fish. "Ok ok you got me what do you want?" He knew it was better to give in than fight

Two well trained Riverclan apprentices against a nameless loner would he no trouble, however Cypresspaw wondered if they should have sent for the deputy, or even their leader to deal with a trespasser. He wasn't worried for their safety, but wouldn't look forward to getting reprimanded later, no matter how well they handled the situation. With his ears flat against his head and his tail flicking, Cypresspaw would worry about repercussions when the time came, and instead kept in a lowered position that kept him protected but left him open to launch an offensive attack should he need to, allowing Saltpaw to handle the talking as the senior apprentice.

Saltpaw' tail whipped around. "It's not because it's the "way" it should be, this is our territory, Riverclan's land. So if you want to challange that, we can bring you to Fallenstar." She crouched low, her claws unsheathed, and sunk into the ground.
