Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!

Why should this character be featured?: SHES SO TINY AND EEBY DEEBY!!! I love this littol baby sm and even though shes only existed for like a day im already obsessed. Rock never fails with her characters, its banger after banger. Shes so teeny weeny and innocent. Shes a kid who acts like, well, a kid which is becoming increasingly rare in general throughout fiction.

Why should this character be featured?: Stagkit is so so adorable! From stalking his posts around camp, interacting with his Clanmates, to finally getting a role play with the little cutie at the most recent RiverClan meeting, I've watched him grow in a short amount of time and he possesses the precious innocence of a child, which is hard to accomplish as a writer. I absolutely adore this kid, and there no reason why he shouldn't win cotm!

Why should this character be featured?: Sootfur, my precious fluff. He single handedly changed the entire course of my plans for a throwaway child, so instead of dying a gruesome death after giving birth to my oc as planned, she is now on her way to joining thunderclan and.... not being killed for angst. His compassion and warmth towards not just my character, but everyone around him is just absolutely beautiful to see. He's definitely someone I am looking forward to seeing in the future. 100/10 character, without a doubt.

Why should this character be featured?: Streamtail is a kind and loving mother. She goes to look for her kits when they go missing, and when she sees Featherclaw with Morningkit, she’s overjoyed to see that her daughter is safe.

Character Faction [indicate if outsider]: ShadowClan
Why should this character be featured?: Wing’s other characters have gotten so much appreciation that poor Moonkit was ignored. I love how Moonkit’s personality is, how she takes the role of leader with her littermates, and how her relationship with Nightshiver is.

Why should this character be featured?: Why? Because I said so. Just kidding, but Snowybreeze is 110% a character deserving nomination. From the way Alchemist roleplays him to the utter sweetness that Snowybreeze genuinely is. He's an exceptionally amazing character, and an even more wonderful friend to my little Berrypaw. Just, overall, Alchemist entirely deserves to win COTM with the charm that is Snowybreeze, and I couldn't think of a better cat to become my first nomination.

Why should this character be featured?: She is SUCH a cute little cat! Always happy and upbeat (even when there is good reason not to be) and her energetic and gleeful thoughts about everything and everyone are just adorable. She is also super nice to everyone (maybe partly due to how naive she is) even if they are rather cold toward her, like her mentor Batblood, or Batty as she calls her. Yeah those nicknames she gives to everyone are also super cute.

Why should this character be featured?: The way Nyan sets up and plans some of her character's stories and arcs is just beautiful, and Twistedkit is without a doubt one of the best examples of that. She was born to pretty unkind parents, with her only sibling being stillborn, her father eventually disappearing, and her mother being rather mean (blaming her for everything bad that happens). Twistedkit has also been bullied A LOT, but somehow this little cutie remains so sweet towards everyone, and it's almost heartbreaking to read her interactions sometimes

Why should this character be featured?:
Fuzzkit is honestly role played so wonderfully, as all characters of dizzy are. I love the way Fuzzkit and Littlelion interact, and I'm glad my character is this ball of fuzz's adopted parent!

@Spotty's Stagkit was going to be my second nomination, but was already voted just want to add on that this character is also roleplayed extremely well. I'm glad that he was already nominated as it gives me a chance to vote :

Why should this character be featured?:
She called out a warrior being creepy towards an apprentice, and is just genuinely well roleplayed. She is a character that I aspire to be like in real life, who doesn't take crap from anybody and just overall gives off chaotic good vibes. Like all of Larissa/Purr/Ares/100 other things I call my friend, they are roleplayed extremely well and are definitely more then deserving of COTM!

Why should this character be featured?: Hawkpaw is a great villain. He’s cunning, intense, and disgustingly violent. Spirited does a great job of portraying him and of finding ways to interweave him with RiverClan’s narrative.

Why should this character be featured?: Mintpaw is definitely an under-appreciated character that is sliding under many users’ radars! She has an intuitive and practical personality that is a lot of fun to roleplay with. Her journey has helped me grow Slatestripe as a character.

Why should this character be featured?: Alderstep is a breath of fresh air, there is an overwhelming raw realness about the character and the way he interacts with the world. You empathize with him in the way he feels so strongly about thunderclan and how inadvertently lonely it’s made him. He is brilliantly well written by never straying far from his roots, thoughts and snappy replies. He’s certainly an interesting character to interact with and I definitely would recommend you interact with him (:

Why should this character be featured?: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHERE SHOULD I START!!!!!!!! Snowybreeze is fantastic! after one post from alchemist kitsune i fall straight in love with him how he has thoughts and reaction! its so juicy and good! XD
