Fernglow nodded to Shadepath as Shadekit was exiled, sighing in defeat. So much happening in the clan in such little time, it was wearing his patience thin. Rootstone having her way would most certainly lead to Shadekit dying, though Fernglow was so exhausted he could barely care at this point. "I was almost looking forward to it, at this point. Too much chaos.." he groaned. He needed a nap. Or some training. Preferably both.

Sniffing Nightkit a little, Birdchatter determined perhaps it would be better if the sad little thing got checked out. The wounds weren't serious, but for whatever reason it seemed she kept picking at them. "Wot a stupid thing," he muttered as he reached down to pick Nightkit up, intending on moving her into the medicine cat den so she could be Lionwhisker's problem.

"Odd." Quillpaw stared at Rootstone. "I was sure that....-bah! Whatever." Leaping down his eyes focused on many bobbling heads. But, he's looking for a certain tom in the crowd. Last ceremony a new cat shared similar views when their leader killed a kit last time. He wondered what happened to the kit's body, did they buried or listen to..was it Percy? Nay, Poppypaw! That's the nameee. The name Percy is nicer in his opinion but you know, clan names- way of life. "Hmm..eyes alert, looking for a big white and black fellow.." screwing his yellow eyes he ventured into the crowd bumping into cats.

It didn't even matter if her headbutt missed because Duskstar just spoke some words that made her the happiest cat alive at the moment. 'Do whatever you wish to him,' was as good as saying rip this cat to shreds. She wouldn't do it here in camp, she was decent enough. But the minute they got to the border he was hers.
He'd be a bloody mess by the time she was through. "You heard her, come with me," she snarled lowly to the exiled cat, voice dripping with malice and anticipation for what was to come. Shoving him towards the camp entrance, she'd continue to push him along. Keep it slow, let every cat see his face, spit their insults at him. He messed up, and he messed up royally. There wasn't any begging or mercy to be had any more. He was being walked to his death.
"Keep moving," she barked, ready to shoulder him along if he didn't keep moving.

Nightkit whimpered with the little energy she had as the tom lifted her up. She was extremely embarrassed, not wanting to have caused any kind of scene. She barely mumbled and apology as she was carried by the tom.

With Nightkit safely clamped in his jaws, Birdchatter trotted into the den and gently set the kit down in one of the nests. "Oi, Lionwhisker! When you got a chance check out this kit here, she uh.. she's a bit of a scabby, pick-y, baby it seems!"

But Birdchatter didn't really want to hang around, so he scooted out of the den to rejoin the meeting.

Blackmoor nodded with a dark smirk. He followed side by side with Rootstone hissing close to Shadekit's ear with a broken up chuckle. Shade must've really lost his mind if he thought he can walk away freely? We need to stop letting these weird-ass cats join our clan, this is getting out of paw. Whatever Rootstone is going to do with this 'kit', he just hopes he'll get a piece of the action. "You're in big trouble now," words spilled out venomously as they head out into the territory.

Nightkit just laid weakly where Birdchatter put her, she whimpered, wanting to cry. She didn't want to cause a scene or seem stupid to any cat

Her tail lashing, she moved on to what she had been doing beforehand.

"Furpelt [ @Zesty Mango ], your name is, quite admittedly, dumb. From this moment onward, you will be known as Grayfur. It's a much more tolerable name to listen to."

As she was speaking, another name came to mind that she... really didn't like. Looking around, Duskstar didn't see who she was thinking of but called them forward nonetheless.

"Stumpydapple [ @.Bread. ], your name is another one that just... doesn't roll off the tongue well, and I do not like it. Please step forward so I may change it."

Once Nightkit was dropped off, Birdchatter rejoined the crowd, sitting nice and close to his Cloudboi.
