Help keep COTM and SOTM alive!

I think the Of The Months are aweseome, a great motivation for rpers!
Can't speak for other people but I grew up with a forum where it was considered super rude to lurk on people's threads, people would even get called out and make drama, so I just never got into the habit of reading posts I wasn't a part of. I know that's not how it is here, but it's kinda stuck with me. :')

In fact it's encouraged to read everyone's RPs, I think!
I'm definitely always flattered to hear someone has been reading my RPs ;o; <3

This comes back around to why RPOTM was taken down. No one really read RP's.

I don't understand why people wouldn't read other's roleplays.
This is a public roleplaying website, where you post your roleplays publicly....
It's one thing if you state the RP is private, but that only means you cant post there.
Nothing says you cant read it.

If I wanted a fully private RP then I would RP in PMs, which I have done before.
I miss RPOTM because I looove reading other ppls RPs.
I could name like 4-5 I'm currently reading that are all really good >.>

No doubt.

I try to vote when I can, but

A. I don’t have the time usually to read other peoples rps with ships (since you can’t nominate your own)

B. Going along with that, I don’t have much time to nominate in general.

C. I have some... trouble with getting into rps with new characters.

Honestly, I think Ship of the Month is awesome, it’s just that I can’t really find a way for me to nominate something.
It’s hard, because when I read a Roleplay I ship everyone with everyone, so two friends could just be chatting, or even enemies arguing, and I’d nominate them together because I’d assume it’s a ship. ;-;
And then I’d feel super awkward when I found out they wanted to rip each other’s throats out, or maybe that’s just me.
I Think COTM is pretty well managed, as for that I can nominate a character that I’m currently rping with and know who they are.

This is so much like me. X3 I've nominated ships that I ship but it's not a real thing.
Such as the WindygaleXButtercupbreeze ship, that's not a real ship yet is voted for. I think part of the reason SOTM is so fun is because you can nominate cats you ship even if it's not what the RPers aimed for.

For SOTM;
It's whatever characters you ship, not what the rper wants (in some cases it is). Sorta like how Scourge and Ashfur were shipped, or JayXStick. Might not be a real thing, but if you ship them, then nominate. That type of mindset just with wco characters.

Yeah... I mean, I got that part, but whenever I ship something it goes horribly wrong. I mean, since it’s okay...
