A small problem…
A short warrior cats fan story.

Smallleap, a white and brown fluffy she-cat padded around the medicine den, She was a part time medicine cat after all. It wasn’t like she could do anything else or even go anywhere, for she was confined to the camp. Smallleap had a small problem though... She was born without her eye sight. Smallleap was blind…
She could never see how beautiful and amazing the world is. Smallleap crashed into one of the walls of the medicine den. This is why she was part time, because when She’s not treating cats, she’s getting treated herself.
Featherstone watched Smallleap pace around the den. She grinned awkwardly. "why don’t you sit down?"
“I don’t want to sit down,” Smallleap mumbled.
"Why not?"
“Because sitting makes me useless,” Smallleap replied with a groan.
Featherstone threw her head back and laughed, "I’m sitting and I’m still useful."
“Yeah but you can see.”
"Seeing doesnt make a difference. I use my other scenes, not just sight" she said firmly.
“No one likes me, I will never have my own life and I need help every minute of my life but I don’t ask for it. I’m doing... horrible!” Smallleap cried out.
"Your not doing horrible my dear," featherstone said calmly. "you help as mush as you can! That’s what makes you useful."
“Try telling that to everyone else” Smallleap mumbled. “Why not just let me go into the elders den than drop a tree on it?”
Featherstone narrowed her eyes. “Smallleap That is no way to speak!”
“You know I’m right” Smallleap mumbled.
"Smallleap! That is not correct! No cat deserves to be harmed because of their disabilities! You help inspire others!”
“I do nothing to help!” Smallleap mewed.
"You do! When I or starlight are gone, you take care of the camp!" Featherstone mewed.
“No one gets hurt when I’m in charge because they’re afraid that I can’t do anything” Smallleap mumbled.
Featherstone said nothing.
“Exactly” Smallleap finally sat down, she sighed.
“Smallleap, you try your best, that’s enough...”
“I’m not enough...”
Mousestep limped into the medicine den. “Featherstone I stepped on a thorn... a really...really large thorn...”
"Maybe smallleap should take it out to prove that she is helpfull" she purred.
Smallleap grunted, “Yay, I’m soooo happy...”
“And if you do mess up, at least you’ll get his forgiveness, you’re his sister after all.” Featherstone purrs.
Mousestep scurried over to his sister.
Smallleap quickly pulled it out. It came out perfectly and mousestep didn’t even squeak, let alone feel it. Maybe Smallleap has more talent than everyone (including herself) thought.
"And what did I say?" Featherstone said sarcastically.
“That I wasn’t useless... I can pull out a thorn, how helpful.” Smallleap rolls her eyes. “His pads are a bit... ok, VERY cracked... I think it’s dock we need?” Smallleap quietly asked.
"You can even say its cracked” featherstone smiles.
“Well yeah, it’s so cracked flakes came off” Smallleap grumbled. “Is it dock for cracked pads?”
"Mhm" featherstone nodded.
Smallleap padded into the herb store and came out with dock leaves in her jaws. She chewed it into a pulp than applied it to her brothers cracked pads.
"See?”
“No, I can’t see” smallleap mumbled sarcastically.
Featherstone chuckled. "Well, yeah, but you still know what your doing."
“I guess I did...” Smallleap smiles a bit.
Mousestep went to stand up.
“STAY DOWN! Let it soak you mousebrain!” Smallleap hissed.
Mousestep grunted. “Does it have to soak?” Mousestep asked featherstone.
“Yes, now suck it up!” Smallleap answered before featherstone could.
“But sissy-“
“Don’t ‘but sissy’ me!”
Mousestep sighed. You could tell that He did not want to be stuck in the medicine den.
Smallleap on the other hand laughed out loud. She realized she actually had a purpose. Her job was to convince the other cats to do things for their health. She was much more strict than the other cats and everyone listened to her. Her problem was on the road to being fixed. She had a purpose...
“I am Smallleap, part time medicine cat, full time clan member...”

This is where my oc smallleap came from! She is no longer blind lol

A Crows Song

Jay'paw fell into the icy waters of the shallow, blue stream, on her first adventure. She blacked out, until a few hours later, her lifeless body was raked across the hard stones at the edge. A thick furred tom laid beside her, trying to heat her up. She forced her eyes open, "Where am I?!" She shrieked , Ready to fight the tom. "Riverclan," he answered weakly, "Please stay. There are no kits. There hasn't been a queen in over 6 moons." "That isn't my problem" Jay'paw hissed back, slowly walking away from the tom. "It will be." He got up and jumped onto Jay'paw, "Join us or die. Its easy." She raked her thin, cracked claws across his muzzle, making him flinch. He quickly retaliated by biting down hard on her neck, making her yowl in pain. "JAYPAW! WAKE UP!" The small female apprentice screeched as she laid beside her. "Huh? " "Jay`paw you went unconscious" Lily`paw mewed. "Oh. erm ..."
