It was ironic, honestly, a medcat couldnt take care of themselves. They tried to focus their gaze on the herb wall, nuzzling their snout in a crack and using their teeth to pull at a root, eyes squinting at the bitter taste in their mouth.

"Theres no need to be nervous with me. I have no interest in your backstory or heritage. Im here to heal, not judge. I also give comfort and advice if needed." they spoke about it casually, as if it werent a big deal, because it wasnt. Daydream didnt waste time judging and figuring out backstories, there were too many cats in their clan to worry about that. their ears perked at the mention of it being dislocated, they turned around. "well theres not much i can do unti the shoulder blade is back in place. Mind laying on your side for me?"

"youre going to feel some pain until the herbs soak into your wounds long enough, take it easy until then." daydream said gently, holding out the water for the tom.

Nightsky nodded and gratefully lapped at the water. The refreshing coldness of the water helped to keep him awake,"T-Th-Thanks," he stammered, again, only speaking to keep his mind off the pain and of how tired he was.

The small apprentice dipped her head as a silent thank-you to the elder as she stepped aside to let her made a fresh nest to sleep in. Meanwhile, as she was scraping away the old, stiffened moss that was there, Newtpaw’s ears twitched as Fallowbreeze vented out her two cents about the way it was back when she was an apprentice, which made her feel guilty in a sense - it was true that she had never done any duties in the Elder’s den before today and there were so many apprentices who avoided such things. She took the partial blame for things being this way and looked to the older shecat for a moment as she began sorting out the old moss for the softened new moss that she had collected. “I apologize for not coming around before today, and I cannot speak for my fellow apprentices, but I do hope that I can make it up to you in the future by coming around when I am a warrior - it is my fault for getting caught up in my other training and selfish desires to not come to the elders and tend to their needs, including yours.” The brown-furred female mewed, quietly standing back up and stepping away from the spot now where a brand-new moss nest rested for the elder in place of the crusty old one. “Here’s your new nest, I do hope that it is satisfactory.” The apprentice was trying her absolute best at this point now, despite feeling a pained hole of guilt within her chest.

Nightsky avoided all the spots in the clearing that the sunlight touched. Since he had a dark pelt, the heat was even more than heat to him. He kept avoiding the sunlit spots as he made his way to the fresh-kill pile and picked a lizard. He sat right next to the fresh-kill pile in a shadey spot and started to eat his prey.

Servalspots sat up. She had just had a dream last night about chasing a mouse, and when she noticed that she had got some moss all over her best friend Tigerstripe, Servalspots knew that she must've had a really good dream. "Hey, wake up!" She whispered. "You got some moss over you!"

Tigerstripe woke up groggily a few moments before noticing the moss she got it off looking at her best friend Servalspots "why was there moss on me?" She asked knowing it was probably her.

Servalspots instantly remembered about her cat and mouse dream. "Chasing a mouse. In my dream." She answered. Servalspots had wished that mouse was real. "If only it was real, I would've been able to at least add more additions to the fresh-kill pile!" She grumbled to herself.

she said stretching and padding out of the warriors den with her friend. "Oh wow it's bright out here" Tigerstripe said looking down avoiding the sun's bright rays.

Servalspots looked outside as well, taking in the fresh air and trying to avoid the bright light. "Perhaps we should try and maybe fix up this mess I made?" Servalspots asked, feeling upset at herself for causing so much den trouble.

Tigerstripe nodded and fixed most of the moss that was spread everywhere. Once she finished she looked at the kits playing "Remember how fun it was to be a kit?" She asked Servalspots remembering the fun times about being a kit.

Servalspots nodded. "When I was a kit, instead of being named Servalkit, I was named Savannahkit because my parents thought that Servalkit was a weird name." She meowed. "I jumped, and still do, very high."
