Honestly, the only reason I'm so ranty all the time is cause I am forever a Pestimist...my friends and family nag me for being so closed-minded (is that how you say the opposite of open-minded?) and for always thinking about what could go wrong rather than what could go well/ I look at the bad things in life rather than the positives...and I guess sulking and being salty and jealous all the time isn't any good for me or anyone else but I can't help it...

I'm sorry you feel that way...that makes things harder for me cause all I ever do is joke and it seems to end up in an argument so...

Juxta position is where two words that don't really go together are put in the same sentence such as: NightWarrior and Good Comedy (I know that's actually 3 words but give me a break...)

As Luna said, the point of the special finders is to show creativity. It is in no way unfair for there to be a switched form, as everyone is just as new to the form setup as each other. These forms require more effort to fill for everyone. So I still don't see the point, here.

I'm bad at making tone...honestly, I can never decide whether I want something to be said in a jokey way or a serious and hurtful way...this is what causes the problems...

no matter what you do with the applications, it will always amount to handpicking in the end. the difference between applying and handpicking without applications is you can make people work for the position they want. you're not selecting from a pool of your friends, you're selecting from the characters of interested users around the site.

as a suggestion, instead of complaining about how unfair something is, you should use your time to seek assistance from other users and improve your skills. that'll help you with applying for high ranks and you can transfer what you've learned to real world applications (e.g. resumes and cover letters), as you're not given a form in either of those or interviews.
