[Sweetie]

The former queen of Windclan was tired and second-guessing herself. Maybe she should have stayed at Windclan and became a warrior, hunting was a lot more difficult than it looked. But the thought of not watching her future kits sent shooting pains through her heart.

Songbird didn't know the politics of the clans but her best guess is that Thunderclan would take her in. The last time she checked the two clans were on good terms. Let's hope that didn't change.

Taking a deep breath the mottled black and white molly stepped on Thunderclan territory. Hopefully, they wouldn't kill her on-site as well.

- Fernpaw

Fernpaw was wandering though the forest, his grumpy
muttering being the only sound except the dry leaves and
plants brushing against his paws. He grunted something
for him self and kicked a stone that was laying on the ground,
or he attempted to kick it but intend of flying away it staid where
it was a Fernpaw let out a little yawl of anger and frustration.

another day alive, another day out in the territory looking to cause some chaos - that was cornpaws motto in life. currently, he was (well, trying to) dig a hole, and had so far just made a medium sized dent in the ground, small pile of dirt to his side. he wasn't even sure why he was doing this, he was just bored!! but, now that he was thinking about it, this could probably be really bad if he ended up making the hole deep and someone fell in it. then again, would that really be his fault? no, of course not. it would be the other kitties fault for not looking where they're stepping!

taking his dirt stained paws out of the slowly growing hole, a frustrated yowl caught his attention and he whipped around, looking around. "FERNPAW!" he screeched upon spotting his thunderbuddy. or, should he say, group-member-buddy-guy-whatever. ANYWAYS.

"COME OVER HERE!! i have something COOL to show you!" he called out, waving a stained paw around wildly. he probably would've shown anyone, but this was different because fernpaw was one of his BUDDIES, so he was getting exclusive, behind the scenes type of views.

'Uuhh...' THAT piece of fox-dung again. Fernpaw
was at first glad to maybe have someone to vent to,
but did it HAVE to be Cornpaw. It wasn't that Fernpaw
hated the other apprentice per say but he just had WAY TOO
much energy and the only reason Fernpaw was somewhat
willing to put up with him was because of the group-thingy
and maybe to get a little closer to Willowkit...

"What?!" he called out without moving from where
he stood. He seriously doubted that Cornpaw had anything
interesting going on, or at least nothing interesting enough for
Fernpaw to bother spading (or more so wasting) any time with him.

watching fernpaw stay in his spot, cornpaw rolled his eyes - just a tiny, tiny bit annoyed. "you're gonna have to come over here and SEE for yourself!! i can't bring it to you." he called back, shaking his head quickly. he thought that was common sense considering he called fernpaw to come over.

without saying another word, the bengal tom whipped back around - digging his paws into the small hole and scraping out dirt, swiping some into the pile beside him. "JUST COME ON!!" he screeched, hoping fernpaw would end up being interested and come see his amazing digging skills.

A low growl rumbled deep in Fernpaw's throat
as he got more and more annoyed with Cornpaw.
"Let's get this over with" he thought and
slowly, unwillingly, dragging his paw towards...
whatever Cornpaw was doing... A little his slipping
out of him as he placed down his sore paw.
"For the group, for the group, for the group..."
He mumbled to him self.
"Heeeey" his becoming voice was unnecessarily
artificial and dragged out as he reached the other
apprentice. He wasn't even trying to pretend he was
nice but doubted Cornpaw was smart enough to
understand was sarcasm was.
"Whatcha got there" he mewed, his voice still as fake as it got.

and, just as corn hoped, fernpaw had walked right over.

even if he thought that his thunderbuddies voice sounded a bit off, he still jumped up (spraying dirt everywhere in the process) and looked at fernpaw with big eyes. "I have a HOLE here! A SUPER COOL HOLE!!" he explained with that dumb, big grin of his, gesturing towards the small hole with a twitch of his tail. "'m making it because...well, i dunno really!! not yet anyways..but its a good idea, just - it takes a lot of time, but that's okayyy!" he explained, scraping more dirt away with his paws.

stars, his paws would probably be dirty forever, but he hadn't thought of that.

"you can't tell pinewatch or aspenstar or dogbark, because, well this is a secret, they seem a bit GRUMPY," cornpaw rambled, that last word that he tried to whisper - he ended up yelling it. not surprising, but still, hopefully nobody heard that. "anyways!! this hole is gonna be COOL because im gonna make it super duper deep! and then- and then, it's also gonna be super BIG too. so if any mean cats or badgers or anything like that wants to be mean, they'll fall in the hole!" he explained all in one breath, inhaling deeply after.

by now, the hole was only about an inch or so deeper. "isnt that cool??" he asked, looking back at fernpaw with a small tilt of his head. him digging this hole was..probably in good nature, but there was a mischievous looking glint in his eye.

Dogbark arrived at the Sunkissed Creek, Juniperclaw behind him,
"This is a place rather abundant with herbs, so if you ever want to help Icicleripple, drop by here and pick some marigold,-" He pointed at a yellow-ish flower, "- though you can also find small minnows in the water occasionally, I would advise for you not to try to catch them, leave the fishing to RiverClan, the snake-hearts," He sat down, "Questions?"

Juniperclaw leaned down and studied the yellow flower. After a moment he leaned up again.


"... will I be expected to bring marigold back often?" he asked, softly. "Like prey?"


He looked up, and the stream. His whiskers twitched. "... is it dangerous to fish here?" he meows. "... will the Clan not appreciate fish in the fresh-kill pile?"
