Now you're all caught up! If you're someone who was these early on, yes, we finally decided on recordings instead of Zoom-- so you'll have to be able to record your voice.

SOME GUIDELINES IN ORDER TO QUALIFY
- Must have a decent enough recorder that we can actually understand you, but no video recordings.
- I won't accept just
any recording (though of course, I'm not looking for perfection!), but as long as you can read your lines clearly and expressively, you should be good.
In order to try out for a part, please submit a recording of your voice to me and I will try to narrow down our options. There is a chance we may do two rounds of this with different people, since there is so much interest!
- I have edited down the passage and compiled it into a rough draft of a script,
here. Please become familiar with the original passage, as well, though. It's Long Shadows chapters 22 through the beginning of 23.

Gender is flexible, but I have listed preferred gender so you get an idea of the part.
NARRATOR: Male or female. Someone who is willing to read quite a lot and is a clear, comfortable speaker.

THORNCLAW / GRAYSTRIPE / FIRESTAR: Male. Someone who can do multiple voices; this is a small series of bit parts.
HOLLYLEAF: Female. Someone who is expressive and willing to read a fair amount.
Must try out.
JAYFEATHER: Male. Someone who is expressive and willing to read a fair amount.
Must try out.
LIONBLAZE: Male. Someone who is expressive and willing to read a fair amount.
SQUIRRELFLIGHT: Female. Someone who is very expressive and willing to read a lot.
Must try out-- only 1 more audition open.
ASHFUR: Male. Someone who is very expressive and willing to read a lot.
SOUND EDITOR: Someone willing to help me compile all the audio into a good format. May be willing to pay KK if necessary
