The small apprentice known as Newtpaw had always been a kindhearted cat, always supporting her friends and doing as she was told, never talking back or getting into trouble.
Her mother died while birthing her and her own father never even revealed himself, some said that he was a dirty rogue that her mother scampered off with outside the borders.
The only friend that she truly knew, Lionpaw, grew distant and forgotten, despite all the promises he had made her when they had been friends.
Heartless Riverclan cats bullied and teased her constantly because of her appearance and outlook on life when Shadowclan stayed with them.
Her own mentor grew lazy and uncaring towards her training, forcing her to have to be assigned a new mentor when she returned home.
You gotta get an upgrade. You gotta get an upgrade.
Despite her often sweet and loving personality, the friendly shecat’s heart grew cold and frustrated with this torment and rejection.
Throughout her life, cats saw her as nothing but worthless, useless, weak and pathetic without even giving her a chance.
However, then he showed up in her dreams, giving this determined shecat a second chance to become something great.
Newtpaw had never met someone like him, so strong and powerful, willing to train this apprentice to be better than the rest.
In the back of her mind, the small apprentice did not know how to feel truly about this at first.
Don’t worry about the guilt you feel. Just take a breath and seal the deal.
Then the thought occurred to her. What had Starclan ever done for her beside give her this bad luck?
After all her hard work and selfless acts for her clan, what had she ever gotten in return?
This tomcat who lurks in the darkened forest feared by many admires her for the female’s determination.
No one else had ever done that before. Nobody else ever saw the sacrifices that she had to take.
Why not, then? Why can’t she take a chance to become better than them? After they have so much.
I already know what it’s like to be the loser... I should find out what it’s like not to be the loser...
This was her chance.
This was her moment.
This was her time to make everyone know.
Everyone could finally see...

Hello there, everyone and welcome to the second plot that I have ever created.
Hopefully this one won’t die like A Flame In His Heart.
To be honest, I never thought Newt would be involved with the Dark Forest.
But she’s been through so much and I can see her now with that kinda influence.
I had Ivypool and Hawkfrost in mind while making this, by the way, heh.
Moving from that, all I need is one role - a Dark Forest male warrior.
One that can train and encourage Newtpaw to become stronger and such.
He will be kind and comforting to her, yet stern and a bit manipulative.
There are no other requirements regarding what clan he came from or breed.
