The Dark Forest warrior sat down and waited for the apprentice to do as she was told, her tail folding over her paws.

Mothpaw closed her eyes, then she faded away… she awoke in her nest, reeking of dark forest scent and a small scratch on her cheek.

After Mothpaw had faded into her world, Fernwhisker turned and padded away, though not too far, from the clearing she had trained the apprentice in. Although the she-cat had been dead for what appeared to be moons, she still felt a tad bit of exhaustion after a hard day or night.

"Mothpaw!" she yowled into the apprentice's ear and began walking back to another she-cat. "Meet Willowsong, she has... a word to say to you. Also, she'll be watching us train tonight."

Fernwhisker made sure her claws were unsheathed and stepped aside to signal Willowsong could begin.

"Do not fight back, and this'll go much smoother for you," she warned the apprentice.

Willow song bared her teeth. “Nice to meet you, Mothpaw.” She meowed, her one eye scanning the apprentice.

Mothpaw unsheathed her claws, blinked, and twitched her whiskers. “Oh hello! What’s your favourite food? Your favourite colour?” she mewed.

Swear? I guess it's a bit more trustworthy than a promise... Fernwhisker's icy blue eyes lay on the apprentice and her Dark Forest Clanmate. Will Mothpaw understand the severity of this vow? That, Fernwhisker did not know.

"Well, Mothpaw? Do you swear to never tell your ShadowClan clanmates? Do you swear to never even think about telling your ShadowClan clanmates? Or, rather, any cat?"

Mothpaw narrowed her eyes, then bit Willowsong’s front leg, twisting her and pinning her down. She gave a sharp bite on the she-cat’s ear. She hissed at Willowsong, heaving.
