Lionstar yowled his name, in part out of habit of being loud but also because he could.

Eager to see Fawn in all his cute glory, Lionstar crossed the clearing to greet him but paused at the sight of an unfamiliar cat. Hmm, who was this? He was a little disappointed it wasn't just Fawntime but he brushed that aside to put on his best showman's face.

"Hello there! .. What brings you here?" He glanced at Fawnsqueak a little questionably, in case this cat didn't answer immediately. He had quite a few of those in the past, unfortunately.

The whole journey to camp, Loona had remained quiet, seeming to take in the territory and watching where she placed her paws closely. Honestly, she was more shocked that she had even made it this far! She was so sure the answer was just going to be "no" that she hadn't even considered if he had said yes. She was a bit dazed, and when they padded into camp she let out a meow of surprise and looked around, amazed at the organization of the dens and how many cats there even were. This was nothing like what she was imagining when the brown cat had described Riverclan to her... it seemed better!


She winced at Lionstar's booming meow and watched in awe as the huge golden tom approached them and swallowed nervously as he spoke to them. Hoping he wouldn't notice the slight quiver of intimidation in her whiskers, Loona confidently meowed;


"H-Hello! My name is Loona and I was wondering if..." She hesitated and glanced at the brown cat then back to the golden tom. "Well, if Riverclan needs any more paws to... help around."

Trickpounce smiled sweetly at her. “Oh, I’m Trickpounce! Pleased to make your acquaintance, Ravenmist. What a lovely name by the way. Almost as lovely as you.” He smiled again, though was a tad annoyed she was distracted apparently.

Ravenmist rolled her eyes, glancing back at Brightwhisker. "Sure, ya big mouse-brained flirt.

Trickpounce chuckled. “Yep that’s me.” He was not ashamed of this fact. “Hey do you want to go hunting with me a little later? I know a really good spot.”

Ravenmist flicked her tail, not listening. "Hunting..? I don't know..." She stared at the sky, still feeling lost. I have a weird feeling... What happened? And why is this idiot flirting with me? Every cat know I'm mates with Brightwhisker!

“Oh come on! It will be fun!” Trickpounce didn’t know why suddenly he was getting a nervous vibe from her. He would make sure no fair maiden was ever in distress!

Ravenmist sighed. "Look, I know how you think flirting is fun. But not every she-cat doesn't choose to find love young, stay faithful to that, and live a fulfilling life. Now, do you really want to hunt or are you just flirting?"

Fawnsqueak was about to speak but heard a conversation happening nearby and hesitated, glancing over his shoulder at Ravenmist speaking with... some stranger? He squinted, pondering how they knew each other since they appeared to be friendly. To Lionstar and Loona, he idly said, "Hey, uh.. hang on." It was a struggle to keep his hackles down as he approached, visibly on alert and somewhat displeased. "So... Ravenmist," he greeted, cautious, "who is this? How do you know them?" This cat wasn't in RiverClan, it was an outsider basically invading their camp, and he couldn't believe Ravenmist was simply okay with that.

This cat said he was Riverclan... "Oh, just a rogue. I met him outside camp, and was hoping he would join. I tested him, he seems pretty nice." Ah, I'm going to get in so much trouble for this! And I thought I could be trusted.. She dipped her head to the warrior, feeling guilty. I should've never talked to this idiot tom, now I'm going to get us both hurt!

Ah, a quick responder! Lionstar liked this gal already.

"Sure, why not." This.. Loona? She didn't seem like a threat, and she wasn't acting suspicious. He didn't see the point in trying to question why she wanted to join-- honestly, RiverClan was the best after all. "Here's the deal! You'll be starting off as an apprentice-- nothing against any abilities you may have, but I want to make sure you are properly trained. In addition, I'll have to rename you-- I don't know what a 'Loona' is, to be frank, but I know what a 'loon' is! So you'll be starting off as Loonpaw."

His attention was briefly stolen by the rogue, Fawnsqueak, and Ravenmist, and his muzzle twisted into a frown. "I'm sorry to cut this a bit short, but it appears we have a bit of a situation.. here, Stonepaw [ @The Shadow Flower]! Be a darling and show Loonpaw around, won't you? I'll be announcing a Clan meeting soon to assign you a mentor, but it won't hurt to have you get settled in a bit. Excuse me.."

Leaving Loonpaw, Lionstar's hackles rose as he approached the stranger and his warriors with a growl. "What's going on over here?"
