Drifting in a Sea of Ice [Private]
Dad, Mom... The thoughts of Gravelblaze playing with her, the memories of Driftsong's sweet voice where stuck in her head like a annoying song bird. Unlike when awake and conscious, this time Frostkit could feel the pain.
But when she woke up later, she would shield it yet again. Honestly, whether she knew it or not, this cycle made it so much harder.
[After an unspecific amount of time ...]
Feeling the light on her eyelids, the kit assumed it was morning time. Expecting to be awaken by the rising sun, she was quite surprised to find herself looking out to a sunhigh sky. "Am- am I still dreaming..."

”Hello my sweetest little frost..”
The sweet voice from behind purred. Driftsong’s eyes were filled with tears to be with her little..yet young daughter.
Padding her way over, leaving stars trailing from behind her. Smiling softly as she looked down as her precious little kit. Bending down, she nuzzled her softly, smiling much more as she purred vigorously from each nuzzle. @Panda1440

"Mo- Mommy?!?" Frostkit ran to Driftsong's side and buried her head into her mother's own grey pelt.
"Buckstar said you- that you went to StarClan... is it true?" The stars in her pelt probably meant 'yes,' but the young she-cat wanted to hear it from the source.

Her words made the starry molly’s heart melt. But when hearing her say that if she was in StarClan, Driftsong’s ears softly lied flat, unable to speak for a few, delicate seconds.
“My..My young little kit..I’m sorry..but his words are true,” she trailed softly, “I am in StarClan.”

"But... Why?!? Why now!" More tears started to roll out of Frostkit's forest green eyes. Placing a paw on the dreamland ground, a dried leaf frosted over a little. That's weird. But of course, her attention was taken back to her dead mother. "Can't you just come back! Please..."

The starry molly's eyes started to water, it truly broke her heart to see her kit like this. When Driftsong noticed the dried leaf frosted a little, a bit of curosity came to her. Shaking her head, she sighed, "I would if I could, but I'm in StarClan now my little Frost..I can't come back.."
