Adderstrike padded through the forest after his Clanmates, his tail twitching excitedly back and forth. This was his first Gathering as a warrior! The pale tabby couldn't keep the bounce from his paws as FoxClan halted at the edge of the clearing. The scent of WolfClan hit his nose and he winced at the sharp taste that their warriors carried about them. Not unpleasant, but much harsher than the subtle tones of his own Clan. Before he could really comprehend it the Clan was surging forwards, through the thick line of trees and bushes and straight into the clearing beyond, where they slid between the other Clan's warriors and began to speak among themselves. Adderstrike looked around nervously for the apprentice he'd met at his first Gathering, and had taken solace in speaking to ever since. As if summoned by his thoughts, Featherpaw emerged from between two WolfClan warriors and bounded towards him, her thick pelt flattened by the wind blowing through the clearing.
"Adderpaw!" She called out, blue eyes gleaming with joyful anticipation. Adderstrike purred with amusement and meowed, "It's Adderstrike now, Featherpaw."
His friend's eyes stretched wide and her grin grew wider. "Congratulations! But you're not the only new warrior here today." The FoxClan warrior's purr grew louder as he congratulated his friend with a quick lick between the ears. If anyone saw them, they'd probably think they were a little too affectionate, but they didn't care. Adderstrike stepped back and asked, "So what's your new name?"
"You'll just have to wait and see." Featherpaw giggled, turning around and sitting down, wrapping her tail around her paws and staring at the small hill in the center of the clearing where their leaders waited. Adderstrike muttered under his breath but obliged, settling down next to her. A moment later the leaders began to speak.
"WolfClan will speak first."
A flash of dark fur blinded Adderstrike for just a moment, long enough for him to notice a sudden pain in his chest.
"We have little to report, but we do have a new warrior."
Featherpaw turned to her FoxClan friend, eyes suddenly wide and fearful.
"Her name is Feather-"
The WolfClan leader was cut off by Featherpaw's grief-stricken yowl as Adderstrike collapsed to the ground beside her.

Both Clans blame the other for Adderstrike's death. "Your warrior was the last one to see him alive!" FoxClan would yowl. WolfClan would cry back, "She would never break the Gathering's truce, and neither would any of our warriors!"
Finally, StarClan decides that it's time to figure out once and for all who killed the warrior. They choose two warriors from each Clan, either close to Adderstrike himself, or close to someone who did know him, to investigate what happened that night, and when a warrior from WolfClan mysteriously disappears, they realise that there is something going on. And so they set out, following the clues, trying to find who or what did this to their Clans. And maybe, just maybe, they'll find out something new about themselves, too.

Gingercrest is a very mysterious tom. They hardly talk and seem to always know everything. They are secretive and don’t say anything about themselves. They are actually a very kind and considerate cat. They don’t have very many friends because nobody likes to even try to break through his mysterious outside. He is very loving and compassionate. They show a lot of affection and love towards the cats they are close to and is also very loyal to them. He is a very good cat that just happens to be secretive and mysterious.
