He shook is head like a dog attempting to shake off water: Only he was shaking off thoughts.

"Right.....you do know I am accident prone as well?" She laughed. The nasty gashes were healing nicely, well, as nice as they could considering the conditions. In short, they weren't infected.

Blake wasn't laughing, but he attempted a smile. "Well, just try not to get killed." The anxiety was rushing back onto him. They needed to rest, to heal up, to get a better brace for Scarlett's leg. What about the baby? She needed formula, and they were at least six hours from the nearest town by his calculations... "Your broken leg, does it hurt? You didn't answer me. Does it feel like it's set wrong? Is there any way I can help?" He started to ramble again, a nervous habit he had.
(Hmmm... Should they ever find a group? If so I haz idea for how }:3)

"Sorry I care enough to make sure you're back on your feet ASAP..." Good job genius, you have to go and make things awkward again... He scolded himself, And you were having a good time too... finally, he tried to speak again, hoping for the tension to go away. "Um, do you think the kid'll be okay? She's just so... Fragile... I'm afraid for her. I don't know if she'll survive." It sounded so blunt, but he really did care, he wanted the kid to live, he just didn't know! Trying to make himself sound less cold, he added, "We've got to find her some formula, y'know, and other stuff to keep her warm and fed and safe."

She ignored his words and frantically checked over his face, not being genial at all. She sighed with relief and sat back in her seat. Clasping what he asked before, she answered, "I'm fine, does your head hurt? Anything other than your face get hurt?" Concern outlining every feature of her face possible.
