Yeah, TMI. Lionstar didn't really want to know how she got her claws stolen and had to fight her way to freedom. He was a little concerned about the bleeding, though.. No, that would simply not do. "Here, go speak to Otterstone and have her check on your paw." He nodded toward the direction of the medicine cat den, indicating which one it was with his tail. "Let her know I sent you.

"Once you're done in there, I ask you attend the Clan meeting I'm holding later today. When you arrive I'll announce your joining and give you your new name and mentor."

Bitterthorn lounged in the sun just outside of the elder's den, taking in the sun and relishing every second spent away from Bubblingbee. It truly was a wonder how such a disgruntled and unpleasant feline managed to keep such a bright and welcoming name. One of the world's many mysteries, they supposed. A small shake of their head pushed away those thoughts. Who would want to waste this wonderful day pondering about that old bat? Certainly not Bitterthorn. No - this was going to be a nice day. Quiet. Calm. Absolutely no bickering to ruin their day.

The pain was getting to be too much, so Traveler needed to get to Otterstone as soon as she could. She nodded in thanks to Lionstar and limped of to the medicine cats den.

The partly ginger she had been waiting for Honeywhisker but, the she never came. Padding up to Sootflare, her tail flicked just above the ground. "Honeywhisker hasn't shown up yet and I can't just patrol the boarder alone. Sooo, would you be interested in coming on the patrol with me?" She really hoped the deputy would say yes because she didn't feel like running into a ThunderClan patrol on her own.

With Vixen hopefully in tow, Firehawk trotted into the clearing and paused. "Lionstar! We have another cat who would like to join the Clan. He's um, a kit--"

"I can see that, Firehawk." Lionstar's visibly displeased gaze was on him, but it brightened at the sight of Vixen.

"Alright, so you want to join RiverClan." Lionstar stepped toward Vixen, gaze sweeping over him. "Why is that? It's uncommon for kits to be wandering alone."

Firehawk shuffled his paws. "His mother--"

"I wasn't talking to you, Firehawk. I was talking to him." Lionstar nodded toward Vixen.

Vixen looked up at the cat in front of him and Firehawk."My-My mother... A badger killed her" He he murmured to the golden tabby tom, who Firehawk had called Lionstar. "I don't have anywhere else to go" He explained to Lionstar. He shifted his gaze to his black paws.

Creekrunner trotted into camp at the head of the patrol and looked around for the deputy to report. Sootflare?” He called, choosing to sit near the entrance to camp and wait for Sootflare to find him. There was very little to report, but Creekrunner knew he had to give a report anyway. He simply hoped to give the all clear quickly and go back to helping fix the apprentice’s den.

"I will allow you to join, Vixen.. but we'll need to do something about your name. Normally I'd allow a cat to keep Vixen as their prefix but unfortunately.. that is a term specific to a female fox, and you are a tom." Lionstar frowned. He wouldn't have minded in other circumstances but it appeared Vixen met none of those.

"How about Dogkit? Dog foxes are male foxes, and it should keep the same fox-theme going."
