Rumblepaw offered her a nervous grin in response to her laughter and stepped back to giver her some room to stand. "You think so?" He shifted on his paws and smiled at her again. "No, I just... I got lucky, see? I'm not that strong." He did have the deputy as his mentor, but that didn't mean anything if he hadn't been out training with Finchwhisker yet. "But I'm sure you're plenty strong! Stronger than me!"

The dark-furred she-cat giggled a little."You're strong! Just admit it!" She grinned before attempted the move Icestar had taught them. She kicked out his hind leg and shoved one of his front paws with her own. She slammed her shoulder into his and leaped away from him. The leap was complete instinct, to flee from the enemy was practically coded into her mind. Darkpaw was sure it wouldn't work, but she had definitely tried to knock the larger apprentice down.

His grin turned wobbly, and he opened his mouth to say something in response, but whatever words he had planned died in his throat as his paws were kicked out from underneath him and he crashed to the ground with a yelp of surprise. He lay stunned for a moment, blinking at the frozen dirt in front of his nose, before struggling back to his paws with a grunt and a wince.

He tested out each leg, and then looked over to where Darkpaw had jumped back to, his eyes shining and his mouth open in a small 'O' that quickly stretched into another wide grin. "Holy crows, Darkpaw, you totally took me by surprise! And you said you weren't strong!"

Darkpaw was surprised, had she done that?! Wow! She never thought she had the strength to do that.. "..I did it?! Yay!!" She gave an incredibly wide grin, hardly able to contain her excitement. She started to bounce up and down, happiness filling her eyes. "I did it! I did it!" She was like a newborn kit becoming an apprentice as she continued to bounce. The she-cat looked at Rumblepaw, her excitement vanishing almost completely. "Oh gosh! Are you alright?!" She dashed over to his side, ready to hold him up if he needed it.

"Who.. who are you?" Webpaw asked in curiosity as she suddenly awoke in the forest. She looked around to find a bunch of cats training in groups, battling and sneaking through the shadows. Yes, this was just what she need. She didn't know ho this cat was, but she was happy she finally had a chance to catch up to the other apprentices, without having to rely only on the slacking, living cats, and her mentor to train her.
