Hawthorn walked with her, really glad she was still holding his hand. Then they walked under a cherry blossom tree, then he reached up to grab a flower. He reaches over and puts it behind her ear.

Spooky didn’t quite understand what kind of like he meant, so, she decided to give the generic response. “Yeah, you’re a great friend!” Her face got more red as seconds passed.
