Whiskerfur sighed angrily.

A small, light grey kit slept peacefully, her fur pressed against her mothers belly, her small chest rising and falling in her sleep. She seemed to be very inactive and still, but not unhealthy. Just sleepy, and not very hungry. Eventually, she wiggled over to her mothers belly to suckle, but not for very long. She went back to sleep after.

Pebblekit continued sleeping, twitching her tiny grey ears in her sleep. Her small tail was curled around her and she let out a tiny yawn, her small jaws opening wide, then closing.

Shadekit sat in the nest as the other three ran towards her. Crowkit attacked from the left, Thrushkit from the right, and Adderkit in the front. "Get Leafmist down!" Crowkit yelled. Thrushkit yelled back: "Trying!"

Leafmist found herself holding in a laugh as the kits tumbled about her. "I'm a fox, and I'm here to eat all your kits!" She meowed in a deep voice, giving the kits fake growls. Gently, she lifted her paw to bat at Adderkit in front of her. She glanced over at Shadekit, trying to urge her to join them with her gaze. She seems like she'd make a good medicine cat, seeing as she likes to care for members in her clan. The tabby thought.

As he spoke, Sandykit finished feeding. She stopped suckling, but didn't move from her spot. The tiny kit began to fall asleep, the noise that was the nursery fading. Of course, she was too young to really understand what any of the noise was, but her ear twitched as Cucumberpickle rumbled on, soothing her until she finally drifted away.

Pebblekit's ears twitched as she listened to all of the terribly confusing sounds around her. Wh-what is going on? She wondered. All she could see was darkness. She was tired, mainly. And hungry. Pebblekit sniffed the air around her, and went back to her mother's belly to suckle.
