Redburn sighed, her reddish fur ruffled by the wind. Her whiskers were twitching.

Foxclaw smiled. Now with his love confirmed, he could live an easy life again, where he could use his mind not for arguing, but for anything else... however, new thoughts came into him, giving him no chance of freedom, but this time, it got to do with the future and past at the same time. 'What is my kits going to look like' he thought, already picturing the perfect future, 'What happened to my memories?'

Birchkit awoke with a start, her nose twitching, what was going on? Her head hurt, too. Maybe it'd wear off? She stumbled to her usual corner, her cream pelt shaken, as was she.

Burntwhisker smiled as she rubbed her head under his neck. "Just think of it. Our kits leaping around wanting to be a great warrior like you," she mewed happily. She thought about the perfect life they were going to have together. How they were going to have kits, grow old together, and have gran kits. She closed her eyes and purred at the thought.

Foxclaw smiled once again, thinking of the future and the future only, until he went too far with his foreseeing... Shaking his head, he cleared his head of those thoughts and focused on the happy memories. He kept his mind busy on those while trying to think of something else to say when suddenly, he saw a brownish pelt that seemed to go past him. He blinked and the pelt was gone, in place, Burntwhisker. 'What was that?' he asked himself, unable to find the answer.

Burntwhisker looked at him with worried eyes. "I didn't see anything," she mewed. "Are you feeling ok?" she asked tilting her head to one side. She put her nose to his forehead to feel for a fever, but there wasn't one. She tilted her head at him.
