Shadowlight was honestly surprised for a moment. "I-I suppose I don't like conversation. I feel like I'm being judged." She snapped her mouth shut. Had she said that last part out loud? Cornpuff's second question made her sigh, and it was evident that this was not her favorite subject. "I…lost it. Fighting ThunderClan in the battle. The one right after Lynxpaw…" she let out a sob. Her sadness over Lynx's death…she had managed to hide it. Barely. But now, it was hard to avoid.

Cornpuff bristled, hissing, his ears shooting down. "We should invade and make that oh-so-high-and-mighty Bumblestar pay! A cat so young should have had a longer life! Maybe..."
His eyes glistened. "We should find one of their patrols with an apprentice."
