Bluefrost headed outside the camp as soon as she heard Beastspark call her name for hunting patrols. She would have preferred to just hunt with her apprentice but now she supposes she in a group more prey could be caught for the clan. She glances over her shoulder to make sure the cats in her patrol are keeping up. She wasn't going to spare them in her report to Beastspark should they fail to actually hunt with her.

Ravenheart was following not too far behind, trying to find any scents. He looked at Bluefrost and gave her a confused look as she looked over her shoulder at them before he started to look around once more, he would've liked to bring his apprentice with him, but it seemed like things didn't turn out that way. "Never headed towards this direction to hunt, do you know any great spot over there?" He asked as he caught up to her.

Faithpaw wasn't surprised that her mentor wasn't responding to her. But it still hurt! Why did she have to ignore her. The calico twitched her tail as Dawnstripe and Thistlepaw kind of fought. She had to train with these two? StarClan she was in for a treat. Don't worry, everything will work out just right! Faith reminded herself. She had to have faith that everything would play out like it was supposed to. With a deep breath a smile was back on her muzzle.
Positive thinking. With Beastspark's order the little calico trotted after him. This would be interesting!

Beastspark glanced over his shoulder pleased to see that Faithpaw was following. He was wondering if he should wait for Dawnstripe although seeing how she argued with her apprentice he figured she'd catch up. "So Faithpaw, did your former mentor teach you anything about hunting?"

The little calico looked up at the huge tom with his question. "Nope. Nether of my last mentors did anything for me. I think both of them died... don't know about Blackbird..." She answered thinking a bit. "I saw him once, well kinda twice when I was assign to him." Faithpaw added. Really she'd had some bad mentors, though she didn't try that hard to be a good apprentice to start with. She was trying now though! "I did figure out what fox smelled like from the first patrol I was on though." The little apprentice added.

[Patrols definitely over, but I'm not sure how well Dawnstripe will be able to train Thistle or Faith with her injuries so I figured I'd try and get them some experience in with this patrol so you have the posts.]

Dawnstripe padded out with a lash of her tail at the unresponsive Thistlepaw. She left the apprentice behind and made her way after the clan deputy and Faithpaw. She frowned gently at the warrior as he took to chatting with Faithpaw. Here she thought that apprentice would be the most useless of the two of them. She took up the rear of the hunting patrol, ears raised to hear Faithpaw's answer. This would tell her what she needed to work on with her. "Great, so no one taught you how to hunt," Dawnstripe growled, tail lashing. "Do you at least know what a hunting crouch is and how to do it?"

Bluefrost turned over to Ravenheart as he caught up to her. She was a little disappointed that she didn't see her own apprentice nor the other patrol member, but she wasn't going to dwell on their lack of appearance for now. "I'm not certain, I haven't hunted around this area either. I'm hoping there's something there." She replied, more concerned about actually fetch food for the clan over getting scolded by Icestar should they fail.

The ears that were now always plastered to her head lifted as she heard her name. As her new mentor showed up stating they were going hunting, her mismatched eyes cast themselves to the ground. She wasn't really motivated to train, but never one to argue, she merely trailed behind Russetpatch outside the camp.

She swayed her tail as they padded through the forest. Then she saw a mouse and pointed towards it with her tail. "Okay, try catching it." She meowed to Softpaw, staying silently where she was.

Ravenheart nodded as she spoke, also hoping that there was something around here, else they'd hear about it from Icestar, the tom held his head high and sniffed the surroundings, sure, he was troublesome at times, but that didn't mean he was like that at all time, he then gazed at Bluefrost and pointed in a direction. "Do you think we should go our separate ways for a bit and set up a meeting point?" He asked, because right now, if they just went in the same direction... They weren't really all that useful. "Just putting the idea out there, because you know, I'm not the patrol leader." He added

Rabbitpaw
Breathing heavily as she ran up to the others, the apprentice let out a shaky breath, grinning apologetically at Bluefrost. "Sorry about that I was finishing up something." A something that was still stuck to her whiskers. Rabbitpaw blinked as she noticed the slightly bloodied feather from the scrawny sparrow she'd eaten earlier. She reached up to quickly swipe it off, giving her mentor and the other patrol members another sheepish grin. She was just called for a hunting patrol at an awkward moment is all. She'd nearly choked trying to swallow the rest of her sparrow in time to catch up with the others.

Finally, some peace and quiet. The camp was still in chaos after the recent attack, and Snowclaw got tired of it quickly. Thankfully, he hadn't known any of the cats who had died in RiverClan's attack, but he still couldn't stand the smell of blood that seemed to linger in the air, no matter how much they tried to get rid of it. Even Bearpaw's foul-smelling herbs couldn't mask the stench for the Snowclaw. But out here in the territory, all he could smell was pine sap, grass, and...another cat. They smelled like a fellow ShadowClan cat, but he couldn't put a name to the scent. There was no doubt they had scented him, too, so he followed the trail until his eyes fell on Sheeplight, a fellow warrior. He'd never spoken to her before, but he knew her name and that she seemed to be nice, if not a tad on the lazy side. Snowclaw didn't say anything, opting instead to give a simple nod in greeting.
