You know you're being judged for all your worth, but you're determined to make your case. It's not every day cats try to reincarnate, and you're tired of being trapped here. Perhaps your first life didn't go as planned.. but the next one is going to be better.

All you have to do is answer them.

"What makes you stand out from the rest of the cats who want another chance?"

>>The slim, gray she-cat stood in front of the cats who made up the convent. All she had to do was answer. Just answer. She took a deep breath before speaking. "I have made many mistakes, and I-" she paused looking for the right words. "I feel as I didn't deserve to be here, not in StarClan or the Dark Forest. I need another chance to fix them, but not as me, not as Clearpelt. Clearpelt cannot fix the many mistakes," she paused for a moment, thinking about her daughter, Dapplepaw.

>> "I took my daughter away from her Clan, her home, and my home. I lived outside the warrior code, yet I encouraged my daughter to find her birth clan. She always ment to live inside the code, while - until my final moments - I lived outside of it. I feel as if my mistakes are too great for me to be here, and I need to fix them," she said. She took a step forward, trembling. It was hard for her to stand her ground, and not think about her daughter. Was she doing the right thing?

>> She took another deep breath before continuing. "M-my daughter, I took her away, when I was afraid. And I-I feel like I need to fix that. I need to help her," she whispered.

The Tabby watched as yet another lost soul made their way to their secluded section of the Stars, where it's covered by life and fog. Looking around, he realized at the moment he was the only one here...and he was a teensy bit late. Oops.

The former RiverClanner listened as they laid out their case, confusion flickering across his features. "So what is it you are trying to do? You don't wish to be you? A Reincarnation?" he tilted his head to the side. It was...confusing. Maybe this was his first Reincarnation he's been apart of.

"Are you sure you can fix what you believe is broken as a new you?" he asked.

Dewkit followed after Rowanmist, taking in the sight of Clearpelt before sitting neatly, tucking her tail over her paws. So, this was supposed to be a reincarnation. The grey kit twitched her whiskers, eyes narrowed as she listened to Rowanmist's questions. Too many questions, honestly. She took up the offensive. "Lovely that you feel guilt for ruining a child's life," Dewkit began, no sympathy in her voice. "But how can you say that you'll fix things by starting your life over?" Seems to her that Clearpelt just wanted to escape her guilt rather than right her wrongs. Except, saying that was taking things too far, considering that the cat hadn't answered and there was still more to be said. Once she got her answers, her hypothesis will either be proven true or falsified. For Clearpelt's sake, it better be proven false.

The Tabby looked over at the other feline who had popped up. Odd, weren't there supposed to be three? Maybe they would come in later. The words that came out of the kit's maw made him let out an anxious chuckle. Ah, that was a surprise.

"How do you plan on proceeding, if you were granted the ability to have your life back?" he asked, turning back to Clearpelt. His soft smile still there. "Hoping and believing are one thing...but succeeding and doing are another. What you're hoping to achieve, isn't something to sneeze at. Another's heart is quite the fickle thing..." he asked, with another tilt of his head.

Unfortunately for Dewkit, her fellow dead cat stole the questions right from her mind, though he phrased it more kindly than she would've. The dead kit fixed an even deader stare on Clearpelt, eager to hear her answer. She must have quite the idea if she thought she could fix her wrongs that her reincarnated self wouldn't be able to remember (not exactly, anyways).

With a blink, Dewkit realized that the third had yet to show. Perhaps they would have some more questions to ask. To add on, Dewkit asked, "And are you sure you can complete your goals?"

>> Clearpelt perked her ears, listening to the Covenant. All she wanted was to be with her daughter again. "I truly believe that I can fix her life as a new cat, she has gone through so much because of me," she said, trying to hold back her tears. "I really do think I can fix my mistakes," she responded. She remembered in the nursery, being curled up with a Dappled kit. Dapplekit. It pained Clearpelt to think about her daughter, after she ruined her life. "I just want a second chance to make things right. I will feel that if I fix all of my mistakes, I would be worthy for StarClan. Please, I just want to make things right for my daughter," she said. She remembered Blackfoot. Dapplepaw had grown up without a father. If she had tried harder, Maybe her daughter would have had a happier life. If only she had tried harder...

>> She cleared her throat before speaking again, her voice was full of sorrow. It pained her to speak of her daughter's broken life. "I only wish for a chance to make things right for her. It's not for me, it's for her. I just want a chance to right the wrongs in her life. They are only there because of me. I-if I hadn't taken her away," she croaked. She was trying very hard to stay calm in front of the StarClan cats. A couple of tears fell from her eyes, but she managed to look at them. "If I go back, My only goal will be to fix the wrongs. Nothing else but to fix my mistakes," she said. She held her head up high, awaiting the response of the cats.

The tabby took a moment, attempting to comprehend what the molly was saying. She was...she was repeating herself. "I don't believe living for another...is the proper way to live your life. And truthfully, does she want you to fix her life, or are you trying to work through your guilt?" he asked. At this point, the tom's gentle smile had lessened, his face stern.

"You may want to go help, but does she want your help? I understand, guilt is...tough to deal with. It feels like your drowning. It makes you irrational, and it makes you do things you...things you shouldn't."

Rowanmist looked at Clearpelt, taking a step forwards.

"If you truly believe it's best for her. From the bottom of your heart. I will say yes."

"So he says, but I don't care about how you live your life," Dewkit started, observing Clearpelt's tears. The dead kit flicked her ears contemplatively, looking to Rowanmist as he spoke, giving this cat his approval. Hm, that was a surprise. But, she supposed, looking at Clearpelt, she could see how determined she was to go and try to help her daughter, or how much it meant to her. "If your intention is only to help this daughter of yours, I approve." Whatever was best for that young cat, out there alive somewhere. "No funny business."

If they accepted, she would be reunited with her daughter. And... They said yes. She tried her hardest not to burst out into tears. She would get another chance to fix Dapplepaw's life. She held her head up high, a smile on her face. "Thank you, so, so much. I promise I will not waste this chance," she said, voice cracking. My sweet Dapplepaw... We will soon be reunited.
