The staff is ecstatic to bring you Warrior Cats Online's seventh annual, site-wide Secret Santa Event! It was a celebration of holiday cheer last time, and this year will be even better! For those who are unfamiliar with how this will work or what a Secret Santa is, just keep reading. A Secret Santa is a method of gift exchanging. Participants will be giving a gift to someone, and receiving a gift from someone else -- all in an anonymous fashion! On December 6th, sign-ups will have concluded at 10 PM Eastern Time, and a staff member will message all who signed up to ensure they're still interested. *This message must receive a response by 1 AM Eastern Time on 12/11/23, or it will be assumed you're not participating anymore. The staff will message everyone the name of the member they will be creating a gift for. Do not tell this member that you are their Secret Santa. Remember, this event is supposed to be done anonymously. The gift can be anything from artwork, written work, personalized song playlists, character biographies, adoptables, or even an item from the Kitty Koins Bank ( Please note you cannot gift Purrks! ) . Site rules apply to all gifts. Please utilize good judgment. In the meantime, your Secret Santa will be busy preparing your gift. Don't make them guess what you want: share your wishlist here! Once you are finished, private message your gift to Sandy Claws. before December 28th at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. What happens if you don't send in a gift on time? First, backups will be called to remedy the situation. Next, you will not receive the participation award. Lastly, Sandy Claws will not message the gift your Secret Santa made for you. Sandy Claws will tell your Secret Santa that you are on the naughty list and it is up to them whether or not they wish to give their gift to you personally. On December 30th, gifts will be distributed and the event will conclude. Qualifying participants will receive an award for their contributions. To participate, reply to this thread with something as simple as, "Sign me up!" and you will be added to the list below. Note: If you are okay with being contacted as a backup, someone who has a creative mind and doesn't mind making a last minute gift, please put an asterisk (*) in your sign-up post. In short, you'll still participate in the normal event but may be asked to create an extra gift. - On behalf of the staff, a big thank-you to those who are willing to take on this role. - - Backups who are called upon and complete an additional gift will receive a special award. - December 1st - The event officially begins; feel free to sign up! December 6th - Sign-ups will close. Participants will be messaged for confirmation. December 11th - Participants will be messaged the name of their giftee. December 28th - Gifts are due and should be sent to Sandy Claws. December 30th - Gifts will be distributed by staff. December 31st - You may now shed your anonymity and confess who you've gifted to.   TBA
