Youre not giving me much to make a conversation off of. He thought, annoyed that he had so many problems talking to other cats, especially she-cats.

"I'm great!" he suddenly blurted, being suddenly knocked out of his thoughts. He realized what happened and looked down, shifting his weight from pad to pad.

This made Emerald look up from the ground. He looked Starling in the eye for the first time in the whole conversation, his green eyes filled with sorrow.
"You know, you can always talk to me when you feel lonely. I'm always open to talk no matter how shy I can be." He said, sincerity filling his voice.

Emerald kept his eyes locked on hers.He finally noticed how pretty of a cat Starling is. He looked away quickly. The pine forest surrounding camp just became very interesting. "Would you like to go hunting?" he asked.
