Character of the Month (November 2022)

Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 1 week, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
  
  
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.

Why should this character be featured?: Darkness/Cloverpaw is a character that's been around here on and off for a while, and she's just so fun to rp with and her posts are so exciting to read. Her internal battle with her demons is absolutely freaky and thrilling to watch play out, and you never know what you're going to get. Cloverpaw/Darkness is one of the most exciting cats I've witnessed be played out on WCO!

Why should this character be featured?: Littlepaw is the sweetest little bean, She is one of the kitties i'd be looking up too lol, From her being the one to announcing about cinderpaw's 'tc' captivity To her being a supportive friend, she made it very far

Why should this character be featured?: I always loved cloudpaw since i seen her reaction of what hawkpaw said to fawnpaw, She was being so protective like during that time and i love that, I love how close cloudpaw seems to her friends, She is such a great cat in my opinion

Why should this character be featured?: I think Rainglow should be nominated because he is a kind hearted, skittish tom who is very funny and helpful.

Why should this character be featured?: Tumblepaw is such a sweetie!! He is a little awkward child who is just trying their best for the clan and trying to become one of the best warriors of ThunderClan!

Why should this character be featured?: Sunstone!! Sunstone is so sweet!! He has such a huge heart and is kind to everyone! He is even one of the two that is setting up the patrols to try and find Fawnpaw!

Why should this character be featured?: Easily one of my favorite characters to see around RiverClan. Silverpaw is sweet, respectful, and easy to love. Combined with her eagerness to learn, she makes for a lovely character to read. I can't wait to see her become a warrior!

Why should this character be featured?: FireFlame is a genuinely sweet character and she cares about others around her. Shes a good mother and a great friend to everyone. she's written great and AAAA! i love her!

Why should this character be featured?: Despite being quite young, she has already been through quite a bit, and misfortune seems to follow her around wherever she goes. So unsurprisingly, she is a bit more on the reserved and quiet side of things, which doesn't seem to be helped by her bad luck. But despite everything she still makes a good medicine cat - a smart and dutiful one.
