You don't have to, but I'm glad we met today. Maybe it's better if I get going now. I need to find prey and some shelter for tonight. But I hope we will meet again soon.
Wingnettle started paddling away torwards twolegplace, hoping to find a hiding spot for the night. Would she meet the clan cat again? Would it ever be possible to make friends with those wild cats? She didn't know anything of them, yet she knew they weren't bad... They were just like her, but they had family.
Before running away, she turned one last time to Wild'song and lashed her tail in greetings.
Am I destined to stay alone forever?

Wild’song awoke the next day and was greeted by a strong gust of wind, as he slid out of the warrior den. He suddenly found himself padded towards the place where he met the she-cat. A part of him really wanted to show her around, but another part of him told him not to. He padded over to sit down next to the tree he met her under.
Suddenly, a mouse came dashing forwards, crashing in his paws.

Wingnettle had fallen asleep last night as soon as she reached a flowered bush. No twoleg would see her, no other animal would smell her.
Her dreams were full or glimmering waters, bird songs and prey smell. She could hear her mother voice, but then the wild cat appeared.
Wild'song?
Wingnettle opened her eyes and felt hunger gnawing at her belly. She hadn't found anything last night, but now the feeling urged her to go out and scout for some prey. Where would her nose guide her? And where would her paws take her? The male cat still lingered fresh in her memory, and she felt again the bite of loneliness. @Kettle

Wild’song looked up, and saw the strange cat. He padded over with no tension in his body.
“Hello, I thought you would want this.” He dropped a mouse at her feet.

Wingnettle was surprised to see the tom come to her. He looked way relaxed than the day before, and she didn't expect such cordial behaviour.
A gift! I've never received one!
Hi! Is this really for me? her heart felt warm and her belly didn't annoy her anymore. @Kettle

The Tom nodded. He shuffled his paws.
“I thought you would feel hungry,” he muttered. @Wingnettle

Wingnettle purred and tossed the mouse torward Wild'song. @Kettle

Wild’song hesitated.
“No, you take it, you need it the most.” his golden eyes softened and he blinked and looked away. @Wingnettle

If you wish so. But I'll expect you to come here again tomorrow, so that I can return the favor.
Wingnettle started eating hungrily the mouse. It had the tom's smell on it, and it tasted fresh and genuine. Then she discarded the bones and licked her mouth. @Kettle

“Wait, don’t go,” he called. He turned to look away.
“Could I show you around riverclan?” he muttered @Wingnettle
