The edge of the Twoleg place

The sky was beautifull from the fence of the last Twoleg nest. A rich forest was stretching all the way to the mountains. The birds were singing. It was lots of prey.

Cinnamon looked over the forest. The smell of forest cats was floating in the air.

(I am not sure, but I would like to roleplay here! )

A dark-furred young tom stumbles around, interrupting the peace as he enters the edge of Twoleg place and stands near the beautiful mountains. The young warrior-aged cat looks at the bright blue sky with his darker hazel eyes as he shakes out his long shaggy fur.

Halcyon allows his shoulders to slump downwards, sighing. He's been looking for his singed sister - Sooty - for a while. The blind kitten is likely up to no good, he tells himself.

Sooty sits by herself, toying with a soft stone. She sighs, wishing that she was able to knwo what color it was. Leaning down, she sniffs at it and smiles softly at the ashy scent.

Cinnamon looked through the branches of the bush. There was a little She-cat. "What is she doing here all alone??" She came out of the bush and approached the cat. "Wha-" Cinnamon said but suddently....

Halcyon burst into the area, snarling at Cinnamon. "Do not harm my sister!" He roars in anger.

The kit, blind but not deaf, jumps at the sound of her brother's voice. "Halcyon! What are you doing? A-and who are you???"

[Cinnamon~]

Cinnamon jumps back with her back fur raised. "I was just checking to see if she's alright". "My name is Cinnamon"she meows. "And I don't eat kits.". She looks to the little cat and feels sympathy for her, even if she's not knowing her.

Halcyon visibly relaxes at the proclamation, bowing his head. "My apologies, Cinnamon. One can never be too careful with family." He admits.

Sooty smiles brightly, although she cannot see the other cat. "I'm Sooty, and this is my brother - Halcyon!"

Cinnamon takes a deep breath. At least, these brothers aren't her enemies. Probably they'll be her friends. "Sooty is a sweet name" she purrs. Then she turns to see Halcyon. "My family left me when I was a kit.". She bows her head. "I'm sorry I worried you about your sister. I never knew how is to care about someone close to you."

"We live in a large family. Our mother abandoned up, and I killed our father." Halcyon says the second part almost as if it was a good thing, but if you knew their father... It was a good thing, but it almost killed the young tom back then.

Sensing her brother's pain, Sooty leans against him and purrs softly. "We all live together, and Halcyon takes good care of us! You know... You could live with us! As long as you help us with the food, of course!"

Cinnamon feels something warm inside her. "I-". She starts to purr. "I'd like to come with you. I mean- I'm a good hunter." She looked like she was just bumptious, but she's really a good hunter because she needs to take care alone of herself.
