(Open) Echo got stuck

Echo had been practicing tree jumping. She had climbed an oak tree and jumped to the nearest one, then to the next, then to the next, then she miscalculated a jump, her paws slipped, and she fell. Normally this would be fine, the trees weren't too high, and she (almost) always landed on her four paws. But this time she fell straight into a large thicket of bramble.
Thorns scratched and pierced through her pelt and she let out a small yelp of surprise and pain. She thrashed trying to get out but that only made the thorns dig deeper and get her trapped more. She stopped moving and assessed the situation. She was in the middle of a large bramble patch, struggling only hurt her and made her sink deeper into it.
She couldn't get out by herself, and she didn't want to call for help in case she attracted larger predators like a fox or a badger. And if a cat did find her there was no guarantee that they would help her or they could use her inability to defend herself to their advantage and hurt her.
Her options were limited. She could try to get out herself, stay there and starve, or call out and hope predators or bad cats didn't find her. None of her options were good, she decided to go with the one she deemed most reasonable. "help" she mewed softly, then gathering up her confidence she said a lot louder, "HELP,"

Skysplash loved to just wander the territory. Just leave her worries behind and relax. Listen to the birds chirp, the river flow, the cat screa- wait, what? Skysplash heard what sounded like a cat calling for help. She didn't recognize the voice. She cautiously walked over to the source of the noise, surprised to see a cat there. Trapped in brambles. She could see that it was not a clan cat, but they didn't seem to want to hurt her. She walked closer to the strange cat.

Shortly after Echo called for help a cat cautiously approached her. The cat didn't look aggressive or hostile, Echo took this as a good sign. "Uhhh... Hi? I kinda... might have gotten stuck as you can see, umm ... could you possibly help me, please?" Echo asked. She definitely had a way with words.

Skysplash walked closer. The cat was certainly stuck. They were tangled and brambles, which dug into their skin. Skysplash shivered to think of being in their position. "Fine." She said, clearly and calmly like normal. She walked closer, unsheathing her claws.

(Sorry for taking a long time to reply, school/family stuff)

Echo tried not to flinch as the cat unsheathed her claws. Echos last interaction with a cat didn't go so well, she had a faint scar on her side from it. The wind blew the cat's scent to Echo. She smelled like fish, a lot like the scent markings in a line she passed by awhile back. Maybe this is her territory? She thought to herself.

Skysplash rolled her eyes at the cat's fearful expression. She leaned forward, digging her claws into their shoulders. She grabbed their scruff, trying to pull them out.

Echo pushed off of the forest floor until finally she was pulled free from the brambles. "Thanks," she said. She started to lick all the small scratches she had from the brambles.
