Sundust padded into the gathering shortly after Cinderpaw, fur well-groomed for once. His gaze flicked amongst the gathered cats as the other clans slowly poured in, looking to see how cats reacted to Thrushfur leading the clan in. By now he knew very well that ThunderClan had a reputation of burning through leaders as quick as he burned through marigold, and in-line with that was on guard for any snarky comments. He glanced to Cinderpaw, whiskers twitching as she muttered to him. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you don’t get yourself killed.” He thought with amusement to their last interaction before a gathering, him jokingly warning Cinderpaw not to go picking fights.

As he reached the group of medicine cats, he lifted his tail in greeting. It seemed only the ShadowClan ones were the only ones present; as barely-tolerable as they were, Sundust could still offer the courtesy of being cordial. “Good evening, Ivysnake, Elmshadow.” He offered a nod to each cat respectively as he took he seat at the base of the stones. Ivysnake seemed chatty, which didn’t surprise him - she seemed more open about her curiosity than Elmshadow. What did surprise him was the questions she asked.

“Ivysnake, I never expected you of all cats to be so concerned about whether my apprentice has StarClan’s blessing.” Her and Elmshadow’s allegiance to the Dark Forest was well-known at this point, at least amongst the medicine cats. “Anyways, the business of ThunderClan is ThunderClan’s alone. I’m afraid the days of ShadowClan’s intrusiveness is over.” His voice was cool as ever as he addressed the fellow medicine cat, no hostility but purely just stating fact.

The curly-furred tom glanced briefly at his apprentice, gauging her reaction to the scenario as a whole, before turning his focus to the cats pouring into the clearing. He wondered if Stonepaw would be escorted to them once more - the little tom was young and Sundust hoped he would not be overwhelmed with the bustling gathering. Once he arrived perhaps Sundust would do his best to diminish any conflicts or passive-aggressiveness amongst the medicine cats, for the sake of keeping the younger medicine cats at peace.

Shadefrost didn't answer. Instead he proceeded to pick the seashell up by the end with his teeth and hold it in a way where it was suspended in air, then he carefully slid his tail into the opening of the object and released his hold on it. Thankfully his tail was small enough to where it would fit and large enough to where it wouldn't just fall off if he didn't keep it tilted up. "Shadows and snowflakes it worked, said the tom with surprise. He gave a little laugh, then decided to test the new weapon out by giving a few jabs with his tail. It felt a little heavy and unbalanced, plus he couldn't jab the cone as quick as he wanted to, but it wasn't anything that he couldn't fix as time went on. "Hawk, if this isn't one of the coolest things in the forest then I have no idea what is."

Blackhawk nodded "It's a good idea, but also pretty dangerous for friendlies behind you...", it's was truly a good idea, he couldn't have thinked about that, but he had to pay attention to the trajectory of the tail, just in case...

"Hmm, that's true I guess, said the tom who was now putting his tail towards his side. "I'm probably going to have to start practicing with this pretty soon, he said with a hint of excitement in his voice. Yeah, yeah. He knew he might've seemed to be acting like a kit to anyone else standing around, but what did they expect to happen when he fond something as cool as this. Are you sure you don't want one? There's definitely one around here somewhere."

Peachpaw carefully inspected the large open space, awestruck. So many cats... So many opportunities... She blinked several time in rapid succession, overwhelmed by the sheer amount of cats and noise there was. In many ways, this Gathering was a great thing for her. She would learn to regconize new faces. She would (maybe?) make new friends? She would (hopefully) make new friends. I will definitely make new friends.

Her longterm goal to become a regconizable icon throughout all the Clans started here. No matter what, she could not screw this up. It was time to activate Position Sequence #5: Lonelieness and Sadness. The purpose of this sequence was to attract sympathy and attention from those around her. In this situation, it was just what Peachpaw needed. She supressed a smile, internally praising her own cleverness.

Step one. Peachpaw tilted her head down, fixing her eyes on a small patch of wilted grass. Ew. Gross. Step two. She began making circular motions in the dirt using her paw, highlighting how alone she was. She was so alone that she had nothing better to do than make dumb circles. What a touching and pitiful sight. Step three. She carefully wrapped her tail around her body, further pushing her sad and defensively lonely stance. And finally. Step four. Peachpaw did her best to dialate her pupils. This technique was rather shaky and uncontrollable, but she was able to manage it (to the best of her ability). Her pupils became 10% larger, making her appearance more cute, harmless, innocent, and appealing.

Heh. It takes a mastermind to execute such a careful balance of moves with such precision... Luckily, I'm just the cat. Her sequence being completed, all she had to was wait. RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan... It didn't matter to her. Surely someone would notice her. Hopefully a fellow apprentice. But anyone will do really... She refrained from breaking her stance, not even to look up at any of the high ranks, who she had briefly taken note of upon entering the Gathering. She vaguely tuned into several other conversations, anticipating a conversation of her own being initiated shortly.

Stormpaw and Rosepaw were both mumbling to themselves next to eachother because why not when they looked up they saw her

"Hi are you alone...................how are you just beatiful wow" she said while admiring the light shaded cat

"What are you staring at huh" stormpaw taunted baring his teeth

"Stormpaw be nice" Rosepaw almost demanded making stormpaw no longer bare his teeth

"So which clan are you in?" Rosepaw was trying the best she could to be peppy but training was brutal these last few weeks

Stormpaw looked like he was mumbling stuff to himself

Both had a aura of some sort of fear

Ravenpaw watched from a distance making sure that they wouldnt make a move on peach

Rosestep was mingling making sure no arguements broke out

(My river clan was................doing nothing they dont exist lol)

Peachpaw rolled her eyes as stormpaw tried to make a joke the most horrible joke she had ever heard. The mollies eyes looked around seeing all the cats, thought the most eye catching cat was another peachpaw from thunderclan"don't push it stormpaw i'm gonna go meet other apprentices see ya" she said getting up and walking cautiously to the apprentice. Her ears moving around as she stood a small distance from the 8 moon old apprentice"u-um hi?" she said barely moving any part of her body. step one introduce yourself done easy, step 2 start a conversation maybe easy, step three try and be friends, maybe hard. yup a freaking out riverclan peachpaw inside the body running around not knowing how this will end up

Willowlight giggled a little as froststorm licked her ear. The molly knew it was against the code to lick someones ear but it was just a small lick. Her eyes looking at froststorm with happy soft gaze, her tail curling around almost wanting to touch frostorms tail, and it happens to so touch his tail anyway. The molly stayed silent as she didn't know what to say, almost a red color could be saw on her cheek as she fell in love

Stormclaws jaw dropped down as he couldn't believe what he saw

THornclaw watched the 2 while sitting next to shocked stormclaw

And like clockwork, there was an outsider. Sliding silently off her perch Mirehound slunk around the gathered group of cats until she stood in front of the stranger, blue eyes piercing. ”Leave.” Dawnstar had said to give one warning. If this cat didn’t heed it, the next would come with claws.
