Emeraldgaze tried to nudge Raventail's head back up with his muzzle.
"Keep your head up, your kits will need you," He said in a soothing voice. "We can't change what happened but what we can do is, when they're born, we can tell them all about their father. The clan will help you raise them. Also, maybe one of them will be a medicine cat! Then they can visit him whenever they want!"
