"Are you alright?" Ember asked, noticing he seemed kind of side tracked. Maybe it was because of Aspen, he was being a real jerk. He should be nicer to the other kits without mother. He could be so rude at times.

"Hey there," said Glimmerstep with a smile. "No need to worry, I'm no threat. I was just out on patrol when I overheard someone talking." She gently swished her tail as she spoke. "The name's Glimmerstep, by the way. Is there something you need?"

"N-No. Nice to meet you, Glimmerstep," Cloud told the shecat, seeming confused. "Patrol?" He repeated, wondering what a patrol was and what it was for. The young flame point Siamese/Balinese looked over to Ember, and then to Glimmerstep.
