Sasuke's Territory

The shady black tom walked out of his den, as he stretched. He looked around and looked up at the newly rising sun, he grabbed a stashed piece of prey from in his den, as he threw it outside, grabbing a branch, and pulled it and its leaves over his den entrance as he began to eat.

Cody cowered beneath a tree, so scared he didn't notice the scent of another cat. A gash above his muzzle bled onto his nose, filling it with the acrid scent of his own blood. The kit had run. Run far away from his abusive mother. His abusive father. His abusive brothers. A long scar ran across his side, and another rested just below his left eye. Cody's hazel tabby fur rustled in the wind, chilling him to the bone. @Kunaiskrill

He flicked his attention to the other cat he scented. His eyes narrowed as he growled softly and walked up to the tom, but he noticed the scent of blood. "Hm?" Sasuke asked, he walked up. "State your purpose. I understand you might not be able to scent as well as you used to with that nose gash, but you are on my territory." Sasuke said.

The small hazel kit's eyes widened and he backed away from the approaching cat. This cat might hurt him... like mother did... like father did... Cody backed up farther.

"Wait, i won't hurt you." the dark tom untensed. "You can come and live with me if you want." He said, motioning towards a den, as another black tom walked out. it was a black tom with ginger stripes. "This is duskfrost. He used to be in windclan, but they wouldnt let him do what he was meant to do, so he's my medicine cat." he said.

As the sleek black, handsome tom walked out of the den with herbs in his mouth, he smiled warmly at the small kitten as he saw sasuke talking to him

Cody backed farther until his tail hit the stone. His body shook harder, and the small tom's eyes widened more as the other cat came out. His eyes shifted quickly from cat to cat. It reminded him of the way his brothers gathered around him to beat him...

He would nudge his squirrel towards the young tom. "Here, eat this." He said, smiling warmly.

Cody launched a paw out to quickly drag the squirrel toward him.

The dark tom would smile as he watched the young cat take his offering. "You can live with us if you want." Sasuke leaned down to his height as he removed the leaves from a large den hidden in the roots of a tree. It was rather big. There was a separate cave that Sasuke and Duskfrost had dug out themselves for the herbs and prey storage, where duskfrost slept.

The handsome tom would keep his smile. he purred with amusement when the young cat took the prey.
