Twitepaw's eyes had closed shut in slight pain from the smoke, and her voice was still a bit scratchy, though she hadn't gone to see either of the medicine cats, since her injuries were barely severe enough to distract her from her duties. Sighing as she padded across the clearing of their new, relocated camp, everything just seemed different all of a sudden. They had a brand-new and extremely capable leader and deputy ever since Ashstar stepped down for some reason, and cats just seemed stronger, like the fire had done something to show them how precious the lives of their clanmates really were. As the dilute calico walked, she suddenly stopped as her tail bushed up in surprise, her face only a nose-length away from another cat's face- Northpaw.
