Dove stepped out of the Abandoned two-leg house and looked up at the sun. "Wow, what a beautiful day." she yawned. She was always lonely since other cats were scared of her home.

Rubble

Rubble was running swiftly along the sidewalk, her thin dark pelt shimmering slightly in the early sunlight. She'd been on the move all day, and her long legs ached. She spotted an abandoned twoleg nest and stopped. It looked empty, and that was all Rubble cared about. She burst into a run, ducking through a hole and looking around. She didn't bother checking for scents, or looking around. Her bare, nearly furless face showed one thing: exhaustion. She darted over to a shaded corner and curled up in a tight ball, closing her coppery eyes, starting to drift into sleep, though it wasn't fully, and she was half awake, just in case.

Dove looked over at her. 'just let her sleep' she thought. She went out and spotted a mouse. She went into a hunters crouch and pounced on top of the small body. She killed it and took it back to the den. She walked over to the stange cat and dropped the mouse in front of her. "Here. You can have this." she meowed.

Rubble woke up, startled. She saw a cat in front of her, dropping a mouse. Quickly, she scrambled to her paws. Confusion lit her copper colored gaze. "Really?" She asked, sitting down. "Who are you?" She asked, looking away from the mouse and at the molly in front of her. Nobody's ever shared fresh-kill with me.... Only taken it.... she tilted her head slightly. "I'm Rubble."

"Nice to meet you, Dove." Rubble meowed, dipping her head slightly, then, looking away, she took a bite of the mouse. "Do you want some? You caught it." She pointed out one she'd swallowed. She looked carefully at the friendly molly, only friendliness shone in Rubble's copper gaze now, though with a trace of fear, as if she thought that Dove might attack her, even though Rubble knew better than to assume that.

"Oh, okay." Rubble meowed, then she shrugged and ate the mouse in a few rapid but neat bites. Once she'd done that, she looked up and sat down all the way, wrapping her tail over her paws. She raised a paw, licked it, then drew it over her hairless face, starting to wash, which she rarely did. Usually, she just let her pelt get really dirty, then wait for it to rain, but she knew that it hadn't rained in a long time, and she was really messy, though it was unlike her to care what state her fur was in.

Rubble was a little surprised by Dove's statement, and it was a moment before she spoke. "And I won't hurt you." She promised with a slight incline of her headhead, so her chin went down slightly. Then she looked up before giving her chest fur a few good licks. She cleaned the majority of her fur before she said anything else though, and it was quieter than her other words. "So, you live here?" Rubble gestured to the abandoned twoleg nest with a flick of her tail.
