The light brown tabby wandered about the clearing, amber eyes glazed over with boredom. He glanced around the clearing, searching for something to do, before his eyes fell upon the form of an apprentice several moons older than he. Baykit glanced around before padding over curiously, sitting down a mere foxlength away from the she-cat. “Hi.” He meowed ever so simply. He cocked his little brown head to one side, contemplating. “What’s your name?” Baykit inquired, paws kneading the cold earth below him as his striped tail swished back and forth upon the ground.
(eeek just remembered that his name isn’t Ferzepaw- it’s Baykit and he’s a kit! my apologies </3)

She glanced at the small kit," I'm Wavepaw. Who are you!" she chirped happily she wondered if she'd be a warrior by the kit this kit would be a warrior. She decided maybe she'd mentor this kit.

Waterpaw trotted out of the apprentice den wrinkling her nose at all the land prey ugh. No fish in leafbare. She grabbed a squirrel and gulped it down, before searching for someone to speak to.

Hollowpaw trotted through the clearing looking for his temporary mentor, he was annoying saying he was the perminant mentor.

Lightstream sat in the clearing, pondering her words. She heard someone walking towards her and even before she looked she knew it was Hollowpaw. She gazed up at him and smiled. "I've made a decision Hollowpaw."

Hollowpaw's eyes grew wide," Your going to resign so I get my proper mentoring of Fallenstar!" he was so shocked, but also reminded himself it could be something else, he tried not to get his hopes up.

Lightstream chuckled when she saw how the apprentices eye lit up when she told him. Of course he thought that she would resign. Please. She wouldn't give up the easily. "No Hollowpaw, about my kits. I want to get them back. And I want you to come with me."

Hollowpaw looked slightly dishearted," If I stay...Fallenstar will be my mentor, but my father died rescuing his apprentice Hazelpaw from the fire. He taught me to always do what is right- even if it means sacrificing your life. My mother died of greencough and yeah..my sisters one committed suicide, if I could have saved her, I would have. The other disappeared one night. Maybe if I go I'll see or learn of my sister." he closed his eyes," I want to go with you, but what of the warriorcode. The warriorcode expects us not to abandon the clan without a search with the permission of the clan leader." he meowed. (he won't learn of his sister)

The brown apprentice’s tail flicked to and fro as they awaited the feline’s response. “Oh, I’m Baykit.” He replied with a mere shrug. He blinked his amber eyes slowly as he stared up at the other. He shuffled uncomfortably, glancing down at the snow. “So what’s it like being an apprentice? He asked quietly, but no less curiously. Baykit was young, and wouldn’t be an apprentice for a while, being a mere three moons of age.

Wavepaw purred," Well... you can leave camp whenever, but you have to listen to your mentor and be on time for training, and you have apprentice duties, which aren't fun." she meowed.
