Despite the medicine cat not responding much to him literally bursting with his enthusiasm, Lichenpaw hardly even seemed to notice, he didn't need other cats to be excited for him, or happy for him, he didn't mind, and it wouldn't have been suspected of Larkbelly anyways, he wasn't exactly a very excitable cat. Licking his lips a bit, he glanced around the camp for a moment before making sure to focus his attention fully on Larkbelly, yellow gaze bright and alert, as was usually for the lanky, and rather cowardly tom. When he looked into the medicine cats' eyes he could see that look, that look of wonderment and for a second, Lichenpaw realized why the medicine cat was always sour, why he never seemed to be truly happy doing what he was doing. This cat never wanted to be the medicine cat, it was not what he ever wanted, he was forced to, he didn't know what it was like to actually want this job, to actually want to do something as boring as this. He was in wonder because Lichenpaw actually wanted to do this, that he wasn't bored, that he knew what his purpose in life was without question. But that realization was fleeting and it passed within a mere second, not leaving him time to dwell or think about it. Ears perking up as he heard the large toms words, the mottled apprentice quickly rose to his paws, tail sticking straight up unlike what it usually was, which was practically dragging on the ground. As soon as Larkbelly began to move, Lichenpaw immediately trailed behind, his rather small paws pattering against the ground quickly as he stuck to the large toms side, his yellow gaze still fixed up at the older cat in excitement. "H-Hey Larkbelly! Um, what will I be learning first?" Spoke up the tom in his usual rather timid manor, though for once, there wasn't any form of fear in his voice, just strong curiosity.

Unsure if he should follow her to the pile or not, the black and white patched tom decided to wait where he was standing, watching her with a genuine, loving smile as she picked out a rather large fish for them to share, licking his lips hungrily. As soon as Honeyfrost was back at his side and nudging him towards the warriors den, he chuckled out and padded over with her at his side before settling down and getting comfy, watching her as she settled down as well. "Hm? Oh no, you take the first bite." Purred out the tom politely, nudging it a bit closer to her, his yellow eyes as gentle as ever as he looked upon the tri-colored she cat.

Honeyfrost nodded without hesitation, in all honesty, the tricolored she-cat was starving. She bit down into it, allowing the juices that were almost completely gone seep onto her taste buds. Purring in delight, she gazed at the brute beside her with a loving gaze as she nudged it to him. "A big strong warrior needs to eat a lot." The she-cat grinned playfully as she tilted her head cutely to the side. Honeyfrost wasn't sure when it happened but she knew he was the tom she wanted to be with, one to have kits with and raise a family. Watch them grow and be great warriors like themselves. She wasn't one for waiting and so as he was getting his first bite she blurted it out, "I love you, Badgerjaw and I would like it if you'd accept me...as maybe possibly your mate?"The she-cats cheeks tinged with a red tint and a shy smile was on her face.

Lilylight chuckled at Cloudsky. "Well of course you do, you're her mother and she's still very young. Too young for love. However, there is nothing wrong with having a crush on another." Lilylight then blinked her eyes at Honeyfrost with a light-hearted chuckle. "My goodness isn't she something. Being all bold in asking him first." The beautiful elegant Starclan member looked over at Cloudsky with an amused look.

Watching with delight as she took the first bite without hesitation, the senior warrior purred out a soft paw, shifting his weight a bit as he tucked his paws beneath himself. Badgerjaw himself was hungry as well, but he was always taught his manners and to allow the lady to eat first, no matter how hungry you were, not that he'd let on that he was hungry anyways. Once she had taken her first bite and nudged it to him, he flicked his tongue over her nose with a smile. "Is that so Honeyfrost?" The words came out as he chuckled before leaning his head down, yellow gaze still fixated on the she-cat pressed against him, that purr of his still vibrating in his chest as he clamped his jaws down on part of the fish's stomach, pointed teeth separating the flesh from the corpse, savoring that delectable fishy taste that filled his mouth, but he wasn't even paying attention to that. He was focusing solely on the tri-colored she-cat, his smile widening at that cute little head-tilt that she did, swallowing down the mouthful he had. Though he had to blink a bit in surprise at the question that was suddenly blurted out to him. "I... I love you too Honeyfrost, and I'd be more than happy to accept you as my mate!" He purred out after a moment, leaning his head over, closing his eyes and happily nuzzling her cheek, his purr almost seeming to grow louder now if that was even possible. His cheeks were incredibly warm, and his ears were hot, but he couldn't have been more happy if he tried.

Goldenheart though something for a moment, and purred at Russetstar. "Hey, why not a challenge when we get there? It'll be fun! Come on!" She turned her head and ran towards the brook, Her fur and tail moving like the wind. Carefully moving around through trees and bushes on the way, she was thinking about the test. Maybe I should make the challenge a bit hard for him...Nah

Cloudsky nodded. "I wouldn't be surprised if DayClan receives kits soon to be honest," she purred, her bright blue eyes seeming to become brighter. The starry warrior cast her gaze around the camp in a full circle. "I never realized how weird cats look when all you can see are their backs." She said randomly.

Honeyfrost watched as the tom bit into the fish and seemed to savour its tasteful flesh. She was glad he enjoyed the fish that she chose for them. Although it was probably caught a day ago, she wanted to save the fresher ones for other warriors or apprentices or queens that needed it more. She knew that Badgerjaw most likely would have chosen one of the older pieces of prey as well.
With her face completely heated up now, ears perked awaiting his response, the she-cat's tense body immediately relaxed as the tom was much to her delight enthusiastic in accepting her as his mate. The younger warrior was so happy that the purr she made rumbled throughout her small petite body. She closed her right eye as the tom nuzzled her cheek and grinned happily watching him with her left eye. Honeyfrost's smile widened so much it was beginning to hurt. "Really?! I'm so glad to hear that... After the attacks on our clan... I was beginning to worry about what if I lost you without telling you how I felt or really losing you in general!" She exclaimed as she then buried her face into his neck, drinking in his scent. The scent that always made her feel calm and happy.

Lilylight turned to Cloudsky once more after looking at Badgerjaw and Honeyfrost to burst out in a fit of giggles. "Oh my you noticed that too? That was one of the first things I noticed. It's like some cats have tufts of hair that are sticking up and they don't know but I can't do anything about it." The pale cat huffed.

"A challange? Like what?" The tom then saw the she-cat bound off quicker toward the spot. With a grin he shook his head. If there was one thing about Goldenheart was that she was constantly on the move going from place to place doing anything and everything. He liked her energy. "How bout a race to the brook first?" He grinned as he took off towards it. He knew he'd win cause he had much longer legs but he knew she probably would enjoy this.

Are you going to try and find her mate or just have her as a loner or rogue that was found by Dayclan?

Cloudsky laughed. "Oh geez I hope I didn't walk around with my fur sticking out everywhere! That would be embarrassing," she said licking a paw and drawing it over her ear. She looked at Honeyfrost and Badgerjaw before turning to look at Lilylight.
