Splashpool's best friend

So if you have heard about my cat Splashpool and how she will be expecting Flarestrike of Shadowclan's kits. Well now she is looking for a male best friend that will keep her secret of the kits father to himself and he will act like a father to the kits until one of them joins Shadowclan with its father. The kit that stays with Splashpool will look up to him as if he was her real father. Please note that they will not be mates.

Looks: Owlfang is a long haired tawny cat with a bushy white chest and wide amber eyes. He has a large frame, strong hind legs and dark markings on his face. He carries his chin low and prefers to keep his tail up in the air. [x]
Personality: He is fiercely loyal, and most may assume that loyalty is to his clan but rather, it is to the cats in the clan. If he thinks a rule is unjust then it is not a rule he will follow. The flaw in this thinking however is that he does not readily forgive those who have wronged him in the past, and sometimes he does not notice his loved ones growing corrupt and evil. He likes to think of himself as an individual, but he is greatly influenced by the cats he has chosen to respect. His intensity often gets him into trouble and was punished many times as an apprentice for his unruliness and disrespect to certain cats.
Why they would be good for this role: I think the age difference could be a helpful factor in this friendship, Owlfang's 18 moons compared to Splashpool's 26 moons. Owlfang would likely look up to Splashpool as a more senior Warrior and I suppose it would be like one of those friendships when they act as siblings, but that sense of kinship would further Owlfang's desire to help her raise her kits even though they aren't his. And as he is too young for kits of his own he would be able to focus on Splashpool's kits throughout their entire kithood and apprenticeship. As he is a young warrior himself, his playful streak remains and I think he could be great playing with kits.
