Cinderclan, one clan, one Storm. Who will rise and who will fall? Ashes cover the ground and cinder-colored trees are scattered. Feather of death fall from the sky, while leaves of hope fall far away. Ashes fall of the dead, Cinder and Ashes rule the Sky.

Anyway, Cinderclan is the clan of the fierce, when challenged by a rival, their own pride gets in the way. The cats of this clan seem to be stronger than those surrounding them,
but this has a disadvantage, their population isn't as great as some of the others.

Cinderclan are prideful cats who love the mountainous regions known to them as the "Ash Mountain" (More info in 'Territory'). Realistically, they are Ash-to-Cinder colored cats with the occasional brown or calico, although those are more scarce.

Leader

The leaders' word is law, Question it and you question authority. The leader can resign by taking a journey to the Starstone and retracting the nine lives they were given, taking all but one. The leader is to lead and protect their clan through harsh Leaf-bares and prey-rich but battle heavy New-leaf.

Flame Keeper

Despite the name, the Flame Keeper is the second-in-command and the heir to the leader position. The Flame Keeper organizes patrols daily, and failure to do so will result in termination of rank. If unable to, for reasons such as injury in battle, or becoming ill, this is able to be avoided.

Safelights

Safelights are the most trusted warriors and only the closest to the leader are able to become a Safelight. Safelights are in charge of keeping order in the camp when the Flame Keeper is unable to. They organize, and take care of, certain tasks that are instructed by the leader.


Healer

Healers are cats who have practiced healing using herbs, they cannot refuse to treat a cat, or risk the wrath of Starclan. They heal the injured and the sick, and help Queens give birth. The Healer has a specialized role for their apprentice.
□Healer-in-training
The Healer-in-training are apprentices who have taken the hardship and the responsibility of becoming a Healer, and must learn how to heal their clanmates before earning their name, because of this, their training tends to take longer.


Warriors

Warriors protect the clan with their life, they also hunt to feed the clan, and patrol the borders to keep intruders out, these are arguably one of the most important in the clan, as a clan cannot function without them.
□Apprentices
Apprentices are warrior-in-training, they begin training at 6 moons and are under the mentorship of any cat other than a healer. They learn to hunt and fight, and only then may they earn their warrior suffix, given to them by their clan leader.


Queens

Nursing and expecting She-cats, they take care of kits, and make sure the troublesome cats are kept out of trouble. They nurse and care for their own and the other Queens' kits like their own if the mother is unable to care for them.
□Kits
Kits are newborn to 6 moon old cats who are too young to begin training, they are confined to camp and those under 7 days are confined to the nursery, they often cause trouble and are under the careful watch of both Queens and warriors.


Elders

Elders are the retired warriors, medicine cats, and leaders. They are among the first to eat, not because of importance, but respect. Apprentices and young warriors take care of the elders, feeding them, checking them for ticks, and changing their bedding.


Prisoners

The last to eat and under the constant watch of at least 1 warrior per prisoner. They were taken hostage for whatever reason, crimes, demotion, or even treason.

Territories of Cinderclan


Ash Mountain is where most of Cinderclans' Territory lies, a large jagged peak with an occasional brush fire, earning the name "Ash".



Camp

The camp is in a cave, a small pool lies in the center of the cave, fueled and lightened by a small hole in the cave ceiling, all dry brush was cleared away to keep the occasional fire away from the camp.

The leader's den is a jagged entrance that eventually splits into two smaller caves, the one on the left for the leader and their mate, and the one on the right for the Flame Keeper and their mate.

The medicine den is overgrown with moss, making the ideal place to treat the sick and injured, the pool in the middle breaks off into a small stream that runs into the den, herbs are placed on a natural ledge, and nests are in a smaller cave, which is accessed by taking a small tunnel from the den, it has 3 nests.

The warriors' den is a large cave, accessed by a bramble-lined entrance, the apprentices den tunnels away from the den and is noticeably smaller. There are several shallow dips in the den that are often lined with bracken and moss for Warriors to sleep in, as well as with the Apprentices den.

The Nursery is much like the Medicine den, it is overgrown with moss, but there is no stream. The moss is used for making mossballs and padding for energetic kits. Queens and kits sleep in dips in the ground lined with moss, bracken and down feathers. The elders den is branched off of the nursery, allowing quick access for kits to bother the elders for stories.

The prisoners den isn't a den, instead they sleep in shallow dips in the main clearing, guarded by warriors and awaiting punishment from the Leader.



Burntland Plains

The burntland plains are the mourning area for the Deceased to be mourned, when a fire sweeps through the plains, the hold of the land on the Warriors is released. Allowing them to fully join Starclan.


Misty Step

The misty step are heated water pools that are most commonly used for water during the frosted Leaf-bare moons. The Misty Step got it's name from the Mist that covers the paws of the cats who come. The misty step is home to lizards, turtles, fish and waterfowl that live in the heated waters. Bathing in the waters is pleasant, the perfect temperature for cold Leaf-bare days.

Blazing Flower

The blazing flower is a large orange crystal that sits in the center of a large cave, far from the camp, this crystal is shaped like a flower, earning the name, Blazing Flower. This flower-shaped crystal is the path between the Living clan and Starclan, The healers and their apprentices come here every half-moon and the leader comes when advice is needed from their ancestors and to receive their nine lives.

Jagged Peak

Home to several nests of Hawks and Eagles, the Jagged peak is exactly what the name is. A collection of jagged cliffs and edges swarm the mountain, making it dangerous territory to traverse. Apprentices are not to try and traverse the peaks, and is punishable by the leader. Likewise, Kits are not to try and traverse the peaks either and will result in delaying of the Apprentice Ceremony.
