As Leaf-fall rolls into motion, WindClan is preparing for the cold weather to follow. Plans of enforcing the camp and stocking up on resources are halted as a heavy rainfall passes over the forest, contaminating the moors with something dreadful.

Unaware of the farmland pesticides that have taken over WindClan's fields, Brightstar sends out a pawful of hunting patrols to make up for lost time.


The patrols come back as a success, but bring with them an unfamiliar odor. A strange scent clings to the patrol members, and some of the cats are acting.. strange. Some are violet without reason, while others appear frightful of nothing. Confused by their behavior, Brightstar confronts these cats to no avail. They seem far gone, fighting illusions no one else can see.

Stumped by this, Brightstar takes a patrol with her to investigate the hunting grounds. There is a peculiar scent in the air, but it matches what seems to linger on her Clan-mates. She is unsure of what to do, though-- the stench is everywhere, coating the fields in an invisible toxin, and without more rain to wash it away, she is helpless. All she can do is declare the area is off limits for the time being and return to camp.

It doesn't take long for the patrol to begin feeling the effects of the pesticides, and they become victim to the hallucinations as well.


With a combination of cats and their food spreading the toxins, cats throughout WindClan begin to hallucinate. Their waking world becomes a land of nightmares as they see monsters, vengeful spirits, and outright attackers that aren't really there. The Clan breaks into chaos as no one knows who's real and who's not, and they are desperate to protect themselves.

In the midst of the mayhem, some fatalities occur as the more aggressive cats fight off their demons, killing their Clan-mates in the process. Dens are damaged, and their herb storage is shredded as cats perceive even plants as abominations.


Days pass. The surviving members of WindClan are left in a daze, paranoid their Clan-mates are out to get them, and ready to add to the growing body count that decorates WindClan camp.

A raging storm crashing through the forest does little to ease the delusions that have corrupted their minds, but with the toxins washed away, cats begin to regain their sanity. They awake from their haze to a ruined camp and the bodies of the fallen, a grim reminder of the massacre that has taken place. They have to face the reality of the situation and work to rebuild.

After burying their dead, life resumes as normal as it can be as Brightstar sends out another wave of patrols.

There it is, Plot will conclude on the 30th of November at which point we will bury the dead and Brightstar will organize teams to rebuild camp, stock up food and send out extra patrols.

Because a lot of y'all don't use the Roster or have it that you want to be sent on patrols please sign your characters you'll be active with during the plot up here. Any cat can be active but this is for patrols. Preferably warriors but apprentices are welcome. Also if you'd like me to mention any of your characters that are killed in this plot let me know before the plot is over.
