Teddie's Garden [ TEMPORARILY CLOSED ]

Teddie ran around her garden, chasing her tail happily. She loved it. She was well-fed and was treated kindly by her housefolk. The black kit stopped chasing her tail and hopped onto the large glass table to reach the top of the wooden fence to stare out into the vast forest her housefolk lived next to. Rumors have been biting the kit and she really wanted to see if the wild cats were real. She licked her non-deformed paw and rubbed her right eye. She had a single brown spot on her right eye. And her blue eyes were locked on the line of trees. Teddie started to daydream about the wild cats.

Streamtail had wanted to go on a walk, but what intrigued her was the big twoleg nest she found when she wandered a little farther. She got a little closer and saw a little kit, was she trapped? "Hello? Do you need help? Are you trapped?" Streamtail had a kit and was going to have four more, she was worried for this little kit.

Teddie looked down and saw a new cat. And this one is going to have KITS!!! She waved her deformed paw at the she-cat. "Hi hi! I'm Teddie! And no, I'm not trapped! Well, maybe I am because if I jump down on this side, I can't get back in without going through the front door, but whatever! If I jump down here, I would need help! Who are you? Want me to jump down?" The black kit crouched, ready to jump down, her brown spot on her right eye and blue eyes scanning the land below her.

"Here I come!" Teddie leaped off the fence and landed on Streamtail. "Sorry!" She cried, leaping to her feet and scanning the new cat up and down. Teddie was a black-dark-gray female Korat with one brown spot on her right eye, eyes a pretty dark blue that seems to sparkle, and her left front paw bent inward. "Are you a wild cat!?" She gasped.

Streamtail let out a small *Oof* as the kit landed on her, "I guess you might say that but 'wild' is hardly a word to describe it, we have rules and clans, we rely on each other through the good and bad. I myself am a nursery queen, I will have my kits quite soon. Where is your mother? You shouldn't be all alone."

Teddie jumped up and down happily. "They do exist! I was never wrong!" She cried out in happiness. "Oh, I don't know my mother." She said, looking up at Streamtail. "I was taken from my mother and brought here. And I don't mind!" She said. "Why?"

When that kit said those words Streamtail's heart just about broke, "They took you away from your mother? Then who takes care of you?"

Teddie now looked worried. "Um... my housefolk? What's wrong? It's normal from what I heard." She said, her smile fading to a frown.

"So you don't have any family? And you live here all alone? Don't you get lonely or want some adventure in your life?" Streamtail feels a bit sorry for the kit, "You've never hunted before or had friends? Are you sure you want to stay in a place like this your whole life?" The kit said it was *normal*, but Streamtail was thinking about this little kit's future, would she grow up alone?
