Gecko was born to Shadedslash (a former ShadowClan tom, traitor) and Mist. When he was a moon old, he was taken by twolegs. He stayed with them for a half moon, always trying and failing to escape, before he made it out; though he still had a collar on. His father - and mother- took it as he had chosen to live with Twolegs and attacked him and chased him out, saying that his brother Viper was a much better son. He was found - beaten and bloody - on the ShadowClan border and was taken in, and while he'll never forget his past, he can now prove that he deserves to live.
Kithood: After he was taken in by ShadowClan, he accidentally wandered out of camp one day and was attacked by a fox, who took his tail and nearly his life. He was in a coma for nearly a moon, and was monitored closely by Mossfreckle and Lostspark until he recovered, decently badly scarred and with a stub tail.
