Gorsefeather was impressed by Auroraflame's confidence. She is from that fifth clan, SkyClan. Then she must not know about Singenight or me. The tom looked her over carefully. He flexed claws and eyed her, looking for signs of attack. "Hmm....another deputy." Gorsefeather pondered. Doesn't look very strong...does she? "Well, I'm Gorsefeather, Deputy of WindClan." He purred, clearly smug with himself. Gorsefeather shook his body and stared down at the molly.

He's the deputy, Auroraflame thought. Well at least she'd found who she was looking for. The ebony coloured she cat could just tell that Gorsefeather was judging the way she looked. "Nice to meet you Gorsefeather. I see you seem very confident in yourself", Auroraflame said in fake politeness. I hope for his sake he isn't underestimating me, she thought, though to be honest, she didn't 'hope for his sake'. Auroraflame knew she wouldn't be able to intimidate this cat with her appearance, so she decided to try using her words instead.

She released after the taste of blood overwhelmed her, she jumped back and spat out the thick, red liquid that had built up in her mouth, clogging her senses. This blood was not like the great taste of prey, it was bitter, and nasty with clumps of the other's fur mixed in and she hated it. She hoped never again would she have to bite another cat.

Applepaw looked around at the mass of battling cats . She wanted to help but she was clumsy and would probably get in the way off things . She kept her claws unsheathed as she scurried around dodging groups of cats as they faught . Her large green eyes wide .

Gorsefeather wasn't one to judge by appearance, but Auroraflame and her 'SkyClan friends' were no match for Singenight and the whole of WindClan. The other clans had been defeated, but they are weak. The other clan had to be rescued by this pathetic excuse for a clan. Gorsefeather flexed his claws and stepped closer to the SkyClan Deputy. He twitched his ears irritably and bared his teeth, clearly ready for a fight. "I am confident in myself, as well as you clearly are." He hissed. "I suggest we stop the chitchat and finish this with our claws." Gorsefeather snarled.

Onyx saw the apprentice, and a dark smiled crossed his maw. With a flex of his claws, he lunged ever so silently, claws unsheathed. He let out a snarl in mid-jump.
