Hivekit stumbled outside of the nursery, paws refusing to cooperate. The world was so... black. Was this what all the other cats saw? Emberkit stayed right next to Hivekit, not wanting his little sister to get hurt, especially with her disability. He gently nudged his sister up "Come on Hivekit, I won't leave you behind, let's go explore camp, you can learn the scents"

Hivekit turned in the direction of a recognizable voice. Her mind screamed Rootkit. Stumbling off the ground, she lifted her nose to the air in a desperate attempt to travel towards the tom. There was someone else there, too, someone she didn't know. "ma..mama? rookip?"There was also her brother, Emberkit. But where? She couldn't find anyone, and her eyes wouldn't work. Why was everywhere so dark?

"Their name was Hushkit.Should we see little Hivekit?" Quilkit mewed, purring. "What if I'm the same height as him?" He was originally short, so it wouldn't be surprising if he was as short as them.
