Boulderdust knew that Redpaw was trying to keep a straight face and it didn't bother him none, since he had gooten used to the face he made."You remind me so much of myself. Ehen I was an apprentice I always took everything serious. I never smiled once. Well I was in Shadowclan at that time, but once I joibed Thunderclan I began to smile more." Boulderdust remarked.

He grunted,” I only am this way because otherwise my mentor will kill me.” He grumbled I might aswell be truthful.

Boulderdust's pelt began to bristle at the apprentice's response. "If they try, they'll have to answer to my claws." growled the elder. A frown he hadn't had since he was in shadowclan appeared on his face.

Boulderdust let his fur lie flat after a while. The older tom took a bite out of the sparrow with a slighr nod of his head.

Boulderdust swallowed the piece of prey, looking up at Redpaw afterwards. "Training was hard when I was an apprentice. I would always want to do battle trainning, but my mentor woupd always yell at me when ever I complained about not wanting to hunt." replied Boulderdust, taking another bite of his prey.
