"Probably, we'll swing by where we caught him and see." Caracalspirit mewed, nodding. She scented the air and walked back to where they caught the large animal, her ears pricked and tail swaying.

Featherpaw peered over the edge and saw a Deer on the ground. or at least what we left of it. It was splattered on the ground and was being devoured by vultures. The stench of rotting flesh hit her nose.
"Poor thing probably turned too late" Featherpaw mused

Caracalspirit gagged at the scent, sure it was sad, but it reeked! "Bleh, lets get out of here before we're next." She shivered, walking away from the cliffs edge and waiting for Featherpaw, trying to scent something more appealing.

Two bright Amber pools reflected the sunlight that touched the entrance of the nursery. Blinking, the young kit stepped out, into the sunlight. Her gray tabby pelt shone brightly in the sun, newly groomed and soft. Chickadeekit wanted something to do, she was bored. But of course the feline would find herself something to do. She had learned in the short 3 moons she has been alive that things are nowhere near perfect in the Windclan camp. And that's talking about both the camp itself and the cats in it. Chickadeekit's sharp eyes flicked around the clearing, landing on a long branch sticking from a bush. This branch had no leaves on it, and it was just sticking out in the open. That branch could most definitely hurt someone. And it's ugly. Chickadeekit bounded over to the leafless branch, crinkling her nose in disgust as she approached it. "Oh this won't do." She meowed, her delicate voice full of distaste. She opened her mouth and grasped into the branch, tugging hard. She had expected it to be difficult to pull out, but the branch slipped right out of the leafy bush, and Chickadeekit stumbled backwards, tripping over her tail and falling. Sitting up, the she-kit shook her head to rud it of the dizziness, spitting out some dust that had gotten in her mouth.
The young kit glanced over herself to make sure she wasn't hurt. She didn't seem to be, but her fur was dusty and disheveled. "I just groomed this morning!" She growled in frustration. She spotted the stick beside her, and crouched down, eyeing it maliciously. "You're going to pay for this!" Leaping at the stick, she unsheathed her tiny claws and dug them into the stick, her tail lashing angrily as she did this.

Caracalspirit trotted away, but Featherpaw though disgusted, found the sight to be fascinating. She peered over and was met with a buzzard that flew in her face, she swatted away at it and lost her footing again.
Featherpaw grabbed the edge of the cliff with her claws, but she was unable to get a grip with her hind legs.
"Caracalspirit! Help me!" Featherpaw cried. Her hind paws scrabbled at the cliff edge, but in vain.

Squeaking as the apprentice was again in danger, Caracalspirit raced over. "Er, alright.." she mewed, attempting to grab the apprentice by her scruff, trying to not let her panic take over her instincts. Her jaws clamped around it gently as she struggled to yank her up off the cliff, but she managed, panting.
