A Kangaroo With A Collar

Hey so I got me another bby~ (Ik I should stop, but the idea of him was just so cute, I had to!)
His name is Kangaroo and he's obsessed with herbs and plants but way too irresponsible to be a decent med cat. He's from a tribe of cats in Australia but he was kidnapped by twolegs and forced into the life of a kittypet, but at the beginning of this roleplay he will escape. I want him to have a buddy that he heals (Since he's from Australia, he will only know a few of the herbs here!) and the buddy helps him adjust to his new environment. Kangaroo will eventually join Windclan, and the buddy can choose whether or not to go with him. On some days, Kangaroo is the most useful and wise cat to have around (unless you want him to catch a mouse or fight off a fox). On others, he quite literally has the mental capacity of a kit. Because of this, the buddy needs to have at least a little bit of patience for the jumping bean. For the injury of the buddy, please keep in mind that Kangaroo can only treat minor things! He can also assist in kitting. He might also be able to help a cat who just has some minor chest pains or a sore throat. If your cats injury is not able to be treated with Kangaroos current knowledge, then your cat must be able to tell him how to treat it. The reason I ask about the hunting ability of the buddy is because Kangaroo is not good at hunting at all. He gets distracted too easily and frustrated when he can't catch anything, eventually giving up. If the buddy cannot hunt, they will probably be going to Windclan sooner rather than later.

What injury/injuries will the buddy have?: A sliced up paw from some glass.
The personality of buddy: Aloof, closed off, loyal, quiet, protective, level-headed.
Will they be joining Windclan wing Kangaroo?: Maybe, i'll have to see when it gets to that point.
Can they hunt?: Yep!
Will there be anyone else with the buddy?: Nope.

Can they hunt?: Enough to survive, more than kits usually know

Other: Here's his backstory: So, he was a happy kit, but then he got taken away from his mother and littermates. They took him to a strange place and then he got handed on to another Twoleg (he was sold). He ran away from them and has been trying to find his family, but he can't find them (and never will) in the end he figures out that if he wants to survive, he'll have to join other cats (meaning WindClan). Also, I'd like it if his injury could have something to do with a dog, but it's okay if it's not.

Sounds great! Maybe Kangaroo could walk in on him being chased by a small dog as Kangie runs from his twolegs?

So would you guys be okay with it being a small group? Maybe Kangaroo happens upon Flerken first and then Cinder?

One sec, Imma check the herb list I assigned him. I'm pretty sure he knows how to treat scratches and open wounds, but I'll check just to make sure.
