Eclipse’s Territory

A small heap of dead prey lay in the center of a stone clearing, surrounded by stone twoleg dens and large, stinking metal boxes. A young tortoiseshell cat sat by the fresh kill, licking one white paw and drawing it over her dark ear. After a successful day of hunting, Eclipse was ready to settle down for the night. Her white muzzle gleamed in the pale light of the setting sun, and she stretched before padding to her freshly killed prey, delicately picking up a mouse between her teeth and laying down on a rough nest made of dried grass.

The Young she trotted over to her sister, yawning as the morning sunlight glazed her ruffled white and ginger fur. "G'Morning...". Feeling a bit of drowsiness she plopped down next to the tortoiseshell feline.

A loud yawn escaped Eclipse as she saw her sister. “Morning,” She murmured. She knew she had to get up, but the morning sun felt good on her dark pelt. Just a little longer She thought.

Breeze walked out of her den and yawned. “Good morning everyone” She said and yawned aging.

Maple Looked at Eclipse fully awake now giving a brief smile. " So what are we going to do today? O! Are we going to see those so called Vicious Wild cats!?" She asked Energetically her face lit up in excitement as if she was still a kit, shuffling around excitedly in the dried make shift nest.

Eclipse noticed Breeze walk into the small clearing. “Hi, Breeze!” She purred before building up the courage to get up. The She-Cat stretched and padded over to her friend to rub muzzles with her.

Breeze nuzzled Eclipse back and loooked at Maple “That won't be safe you know. ” She said with a worried look and went to catch so prey to eat.

Maple Puffed her chest out and muttered. "Ugh i'm not some kit...besides those mouse-brain wild cats have nothing on me". She pouted irritated. "You guys are no fun, there's no one who's as old as me here". She stood up stretching.
